Based on the trailer it looks like the sort of scary film I might actually enjoy--not gory and disgusting with mutilations and nasty deaths; scary in the sense of 'WTF is going on here can we make this stop oh god it wont stop what is this'.

So yeah, I pretty much have to see this movie now.

Dude that movie from the trailer didnt seem scary whatsoever and im still wondering why dont they put it on theaters to see how it turns out and i think its like a spirit movie just a scary little movie that part on the trailer where they are in the bed and makes that little air like someone is getting on the bed is probably just a little air thing to make it go up its stupid but hey i cant judge it until i see it..

DON'T. it passes waaaaaayyy beyond the line between bieng scary for entertainment, and fucking with your sense of reality and your soul. i still cant get some of the scenes out of my head, and ive gotten jumpy as shit, and i am very desensitized to this sort of thing

If you're just getting my hopes up, and it will leave me disappointed afterwards... Then im going to have to kill you... Or just write an angry rant in this thread depending on how industrious I feel a the time.

From the trailer it just looks like the story of a horny ghost. Is this the sequel to Casper? Where he grows up and starts climbings into chick's beds and biting them?

Anyway, The Fourth Kind looks better from the two trailers.

I personally thought it looked creepy as heck. Then again, anything paranormal scares the heck out of me already. People were telling me that it's based on "true events" though I have my doubts.

I have a feeling I won't be able to sleep for a week after seeing it, though. xD

dont think it was based on true events as it says at the end "all charicters are fictional" but that could have nothing to do with the story which was pritty good =) all in all a good movie not worth the hype imho

The ghost haunts her for years and years, pestering her all the time. The fact that hardly anything happened as well was weird, but that ending made my jaw quiver uncontrollably :|

Although, it got to the point where it would show them getting into bed, the camera set up in it's usual place, and everyone in the cinema would be fidgeting and you could tell they were all dreading what would happen next. For it to be able to create that kind of atmosphere is pretty amazing.

Right at the end, when she crawls over to his body, and then looks up at the camera with dead eyes, and you can tell what she'll do next. A guy two rows in front of me stands up, yells "Oh, fuck off!" in a genuinely terrified voice at the screen, and runs out of the cinema
