Amaranth (just Amaranth, no 'the') or The Golden Fury. If anyone gets the origin of the second name I shall give them a cookie.

I have two.
it would have to either be the MSC Winged Scepter which is personal ship of The Mantle naval commander or The Mantle (MSC Echo) which is the personal ship of General Nurin

The Final Harvest as that's the name of my baneblade tank
I really like the name. Sure it's a little lame, but no one else took it at my local games store

SS Santa claus.

It represents my home country, Finland (atleast we believe that santa lives here), and Santa Claus is a pretty epic ship name.

RMN Fearless. It's from my favorite book series.
Royal Manticore Navy?
only thing along the lines of those letters I can think of..
Quite right. I like Honor Harrington.

EDIT:A;though now that I think about it, RMN Unconquered may be more appropriate, even though Fearless was Honor's first ship (technically second, but Hawkwing doesn't count).
I've only read honor among enemies :p
but is a damn fine book. need I ask if I should get more of them?

trying to remember more of my ship names... ah!
Tea Cup (and variations on that. but I can't remember what)
Eisenstein
Streaker
Terminus Est
ermmm... damn it, can't remember, too many ships...

You should. I think you started with the 8th book in the series, I'm surprised any of it made sense to you. First one is On Basilisk Station if you're interested.

The Defiant is also the name of a Star Trek ship, in case you didn't know. Look up Star Trek: First Contact.

And Eclipse is the name of a prototype Star Destroyer in Star Wars. Like I said, good names are already taken.

Being the Battlestar fanboy I am, HMS Galactica would be my first choice. HMS Fire And Brimstone also has a nice ring to it. S.S Banhammer for shits & giggles.
No Pegasus?
