Ha, it's been said already, but I'd have to name my gun Vera. I'd have to wear Jayne's infamous hat while firing it, too.

Or if I had a cleaver, I'd just call it "Stabby".

Actually i already name my knives. I have a pocket knife called Vigilance, a butterfly knife called Monarch, and the one i actually like, an ASEK called Naga that my girlfriend gave me.

In the military we where told to name our rifles and baptize them in blood. (The blood being from the toren skin in our palm from many repetitions in reloading. We ain't sickos.)

I named mine Elisabeth, it was an AG3.
So I've actually named my weapon, not just some fiction

If I where expected to name my Iai I guess I would call it Sol Invictus. (by iai I mean an edgeless katana meant for practise in sheating.)
