Also, I have noticed that, whenever one of the many *zombie/robber runs into the room* threads, everyone seems to have a sword, or a gun next to them, but when it is an *eat it* thread, it just so happens to be a bagel, or something not sharp and pointy...

Well, they're definitely edible, although I don't know if the taste will offset the pain. They're probably really salty.
