Over the years I've had some serious geek-offs about Star Wars, Pokémon and Marvel characters.
AND I FUCKING WON THEM ALL!

AWHHHHHHHHHH YEAH

I dressed up as Kyle Katarn and waited in line with a friend for six hours to watch Revenge of the Sith on opening night.

...hey, don't look at me like that. I was young and foolish back then.

I charged the fields at Gates of Fire dressed in Ork garb to fight the Romans for Urk Kuldar, representing the realm of Nod.

Fucking fantastic weekend.

Played D&D? Doing so again this Saturday, so yeah. I guess that. Can't think of much else. I genuinely enjoy maths... I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh. I like anime. That's all I got.
Judging by your avatar, you'll like this: I bought the David Tennant Doctor Who coat.

Yes, it is glorious.
Where... just... WHERE???

EDIT: That's another thing about me that's kinda nerdy. I have a PASSION for big coats. Trench coats, dusters, all the like. I have a Trench coat I where inside all the time (even in summer) but I'm too embarrased to where it in public. Hell I would KILL for either Tennant's coat or Captain Jack's WW2 coat (not gay BTW :D)
Abbyshot got the licensing from the BBC to make replica David Tennant coats. I bought mine through their thing on Amazon. I got the last medium though.

Haha, this was back in undergrad, quite a few years ago, but basically we weighed a brick, used that to work out the weight of the pillar (as in downward force not mass), then worked out which bricks would cause the smallest change in the vector of that force. Once it started getting high, we had to work out which bricks had the lowest force acting on them (the ones that are easiest to remove).

In the end I think it was coordination and balance which brought us down, it could have kept going, but it's really hard to put a brick EXACTLY where it needs to go and your error margin gets smaller as the pillar gets higher.
