That's "RAEG" for "Thundercats did not need a remake, especially a remake where it looks waaaaay to much like anime."
Hero in a half shell said:Why does one of them have a nun-chuck? was that in the original cartoon. They do appear to be done in more of an anime style than the original. Although that is not neccessarily a bad thing I think if you want it to be a delicate recreation of the old series you are going to be disappointed. They will probably change it quite a lot, the character designs are only the beginning, although I am not a fan of Lion-O's pink hair.
At least its not a live action version.
He wasn´t saying that Kids Show = Shallow, he was saying that the He-Man remake was shallow, but nevertheless okay for kids. That is a completely legitimate statement and does in no way undermine the fact that "Kids shows" can´t have engaging storys and compelling characters.Aurgelmir said:Why does Kids show = shallow?bahumat42 said:To me it looks better than the old designs (although liono could use ageing) . And why is everyone so down on the he-man remake, sure it was a bit shallow but it was fine for kids.
There are a few very good kids shows/movies out there that are not shallow.
Take Avatar the Last Airbender (the TV show, not the movie) It was a kids show, but its miles away from being shallow.
Shallow is just what you get when you are making cheap crap to make money, not when making kids shows. It just happen to be a fact that kids don't care to much if a program is shallow. Which means the networks can get away with amazingly bad crap.
When I clicked on this thread I said, "If it is anime, I am going to be so pissed off." My next thought was "Oh my God, it's anime."LogicNProportion said:Weaboo-jeaboo-bakugan.
