The only good thing the new horrid D-pad palliate would be a "cool" feature is if they lit up when you pressed them.

But seriously, didn't Microsoft actually release a controller a couple months back that attempted to fix the D-pad but actually did bugger all? It was in some ugly looking green colour if my memory serves.

I was hoping for more than just the D-Pad, it's horrible and anyone who claims otherwise is delusional, so good that they fixed that, but they should really just do it for all 360 controllers from now on. Having wider triggers like the original Xbox Controller so that it's overall more comfortable, particularly for driving games would have been another welcome change, as would larger bumpers.

Seems that the Datel Turbofire is still a much better design as it uses a cross D-Pad and wider triggers anyway.
