Fallout 4 or GTFO Bethesda.

Seriously, I don't think my mind can take another Elder Scrolls.
NO! Its TES:5 or GTFO. Elder Scrolls 5 is long awaited and besides, Fallout 4 was crtically acclaimed but hated by the commuunity.

I can't describe how happy it would make me to see TESV announced.

I... I may actually cry with happiness.

Bethesda revived a dead series and then they got yelled at for it so I say "What ever they make will be awesome, they are the underappreciated RPG gods!"
Agreed, Bethesda is the best RPG maker out there (with Bioware in a close second) and i trust they'll suceed in anything they do. My guess is Elder Scrolls V is coming up.
I dont think theyre the best by any means
Certainly not the worst but not the best
F03 was a dissapointment
i am honestly excited for NV but its hard to be
OT:V is my guess as well
I will die when i see that game and come back to life when i get to hold the disk in my hands

You mean Fallout 3.

Long awaited to some. Even going into Oblivion with high hopes coming off of the Fallout 3 high I was still on, I hated it. Terrible combat, plot, main quest, voice acting, open world, animations, and balancing made it impossible for me to like it. It took me three heaving tries before I could get into a stride and finish the damn thing.

Fallout 3, on the other hand, was a masterpiece, correcting pretty much everything (Except the melee combat, which is still shit, but somewhat bearable now that ranged weapons are easier to use and with VATS) and still bringing out a sense that everything was fresh.

If Bethesda can use what they learned from making Fallout 3 and correct the main glaring (but fixable) problems with Oblivion, I could see it working, me liking it, and potentially buying it.

It deals with the lands to the north...

Am I lost here?

Games they would create sequels too: Dragon Panzer orta, Toe-jam and Earl, Mechwarrior franchise, Starcraft RPG, New Call of Cthulu game(same the sequel got canned when it looked GREAT), New Evil Genius game, another generic Call of Duty Clone set in the age of dinosaurs, Watchmen RPG, A First person shooter based on Beauty and the Beast, where you play as bastonge who is going on a killing spree to clense the world of all that isn't bastonge!

And that is what I anticapte there possible sequels to be, also Fallout 4 seems to be alittle soon.

Personally, I think the fallout and elder scrolls games released so far have had plenty of backing from Bethesda so far. After they make Elder Scrolls 5 (almost definately) I hope they create their own series, or at least reboot a new one. Not sure what, I'd just like to see some originality here.

When it comes to the characters and the animation, I think there are other people who do it much, much better. That's something we've put a lot of time into - not just technology but people and talent, and how long we spend doing individual elements.
Thank god! The animations and characters in Oblivion and Fallout 3 were heavily hit and miss. I hope this means less reliance on user-made mods for characters and animations that aren't crappy.

Also, work on hiring more than 6 voice actors for a game. It was tolerable in Fallout 3, but in Oblivion 300 people had the same exact voice and dialog. It was lame. Very lame.

I always have a joke when we talk about second-hand sales in the office. What can we do to combat second-hand sales? Make a better game.

If someone doesn't want it, they're going to trade it in, and there's little you can do about that. So I ignore all that and my view is make a better game and it takes care of itself.
At least there's one person in the industry with some sense.

Bethesda, so long as your next game doesn't have a main plot as bad as Fallout 3's, you have some decent animations, character models, and more than 6 voice actors, I might stop bitching about your games. Might. If there's a big issue, I'll raise hell about it, but I'll let the smaller things slide...

Bethesda, god damn it, stop toying with us. We all know its TES V. Yes, we know what it is. Now stop wasting everyone's time and announce it already.

I want another Elder Scrolls... I'm still clocking up hours on Oblivion (pushing on 400 hours I think). But I'm desperate for a new world to roam!

I reckon new Elder Scrolls... I'm hearing a disturbing amount of Oblivion praise with no mention of Morrowind. Morrowind despite it's age and clunky controls was so SO much better than Oblivion, so if anyone of you who loves Oblivion hasn't played it I recomend you stop whatever you are doing and spend the rest of your life exploring Vvardenfall

Hopefully something with the same formula as Oblivion and Fallout 3. With Space Monkeys or something.

i think they should use the Fallout/elderscrolls engine for something new
its a great start and fallout 3 proved its very versitile
honestly i had a vision of it being used on a game based in space and that would be my DREAM game

iv honistly been waiting 4 years for tes v i can say alot of game iv enjoyed, fable 2 draogn age mass effect ect fall out, but i ama tes fan the others intrest me but i stick to tes series. id also like to make a point on my own choice alot of people place morrowind to oblivion saying its better, would i like a upgraded morrowind? yes but i would get bored cause iv done it before, so lets cut the crap people who keep saying previous games are better than new ones. there is alwayz going to be thnigs from the old games we want in the new but get over it, plus u cant compare oblivion to fo3 because if you listern and read thay only got 6months of id5 on tes 4 where as fo3 was fully with id5 which made it better( and now thay say its even more better), plus oblivion was i think 1 of the first major games for xbox and so all the games after had better tech to work with give it some credit. now il finish on a note sorry for my crap english lol but i promise you right now this time in 4 years we will be here talking about tes 6 and saying why oblivion was better than tes 5 mark my words.

Wish list: Gimme a elder scroll 5 that have -

Had a big done of "common sense" injected in it.

COOP multiplayer (like 4 player max) Will make the game last much longer, and you know, play with friends!

balance the game for all classes (each in their own way) so that they are all just as attractive and efficient in the endgame.

Magic should NOT makes everythign else obsolete, usefull yes, but not god-like like it is now.

NPCs that arent always scaled to our level (like OOO mod did, lowly brigands stay lowly brigands)

Make combat more deadly, bows, daguers, all of it should be deadlier in combat. If i shoot a guy in the face, it should do a lot of damage, after all we are the heroes and we will have to kill hundreds of baddies.. so i dont want to spend 10 minutes fighting each single one of them.

That REWARDS leveling up in a normal, casual way. Not the current metagame grinding way that is almost mandatory now to stand a chance in the endgame.

Nice. They better have an entire skill reserved for the BFG 9000.
