Call of Duty World at War 2: Apocalypse Later, Maybe Next YearLeeHarveyO said:Where do you think the next COD will go?
I personally think it will be vietnam, maybe another WWII game but probably vietnam.
Untill it gets shot down by the "fans" for some rediculously tiny perceived innacuracy. I refer you to Space Marine(think Gears of War: 40K), which is apparently canceled after a huge backlash because a leaked internal alpha preview showed a bolter firing faster then it "should".k3v1n said:I still think a COD:Wh40 would be fucking awesome
Yeah, much more interesting.Magical Hans said:I really dont care.

And the gameplay doesn't lend itself to more then guard vs traitor guard and we all know how much GW cares about anything other then Mary Sue Calgar these days.
True, but to be fair at least Infinity Ward is doing something to revitalise the series. Treyarc are the ones running it into the groumd.Raven28256 said:Oh, and I seriously, seriously doubt that Call of Duty 6 is the last one. Activision and its new "we must exploit it every year!!!" strategy will ensure that we will be playing Call of Duty games on out deathbeds.
its basically the same thing, you have been spoiled by modern weaponsNecrophagist said:Modern Warfare 2 had best be amazing, because World at War was a steaming pile of shit.
Finest Hour was not numbered because it was only based on the original CoD. Big Red One actually had a 2 in the title (way to read, there), but apparently it's a sequel to Finest Hour, not CoD 1. Oh and you forgot Roads to Victory for the PSP.ElephantGuts said:Why are people discussing COD6? Shouldn't we be looking forward to COD 5 first?
Now I sit back and wait for someone to say "COD: WAW was COD5 stupid!" to which I will respond, "Really? I didn't see a 5 anywhere in the title." to which they will respond "Well it's understood to be COD5" to which I will respond "Really? Like COD: Finest Hour was understood to be COD2? And then COD: Big Red 1 was understood to be COD3? What does that put us up to now, COD7? COD8?"
Well, and the AI was awful. Instead of bunkering down in houses or something, they just lob grenade after grenade until I took a step forward and was turned into applesauce. The sniper mission sucked in WaW, as opposed to the sniper mission in MW, which was inspired, entertaining, and engaging. I didn't give a shit about the characters in WaW like I cared about them in MW. The B-52 mission in WaW was tedious and borning, as opposed to the bombardment mission in MW which was TONS of fun.neoman10 said:its basically the same thing, you have been spoiled by modern weaponsNecrophagist said:Modern Warfare 2 had best be amazing, because World at War was a steaming pile of shit.
I wish i was but usualy games are officialy announced a few weeks after they are leaked but it's been almost half a year and so far there's been nothing exept for a few copyright claims to sites to remove the video.k3v1n said:I...I...you made me cry...I hate fansAsehujiko said:Untill it gets shot down by the "fans" for some rediculously tiny perceived innacuracy.
