The Next Overwatch Hero is a Tank Named Orisa

From what little I've been able to try of her in the PTR, she could be a real game changer, a real alternative to Rein and Zarya, as well as a real counter Bastion (which is sorely needed right now). Might be a little OP, but I prefer that to a new hero being launched completely useless like Sombra.

Tell me...is her Halt! ability as much of a Zarya mini-ult as it sounds like? Because it sounds like a Zarya mini-ult...as a basic ability...

Judging by the gameplay in this Muselk vid, basically... Yes.

Kinda? There's certainly been some interesting examples of people using it creatively, the difference is that it's harder to use it strategically, because it only starts pulling enemies toward it once it hits something, and even then it's not for very long, and it doesn't pull people at the same range as Zarya's ult... but mini-Zarya ult isn't a bad characterization. It could still be quite problematic for heroes that rely on not being in one place for very long.

Really the bigger game changer is her Fortify ability, which doesn't seem like much at first but in fact has huge implications. Mei basically can't do anything to her, her ice spray and ult both get nullified by Fortify, making Orisa a true hard counter to her. She can also ignore Zarya, Rein, and Winston's ult with it, and can't be charged with it on. If she gets into the meta it'll probably be because of that, coupled with her longer-range tanking abilities.
