Probably to see what people are saying about the Wii. Specifically, negative criticism. While the concept is good and there are some very good games for the system, Nintendo seems to have forgotten the hardcore crowd, and at the current rate we'll soon go at least a year between high-profile hardcore releases for the Wii.

I wanted to fight with some jackass who thought the Wii was actually worth a damn. It's good as a family console, but would be embaressing for a hardcore gamer. And it doesnt hold a candle to the 360.

As topic titles regarding Wii topics generally contain some kind of hint that the topic is about how the Wii isn't "hardcore" or whatever, I thought this topic, being simply titled "The Nintendo Wii" and having none of said hints, would be something aside from some lameass rant about said subject.
