Granted there will be games were your playing with a bunch of morons and the other team could be winning tournaments but if I can get a 30 kill streak you can, I sometimes struggle to get a UAV (usually when I run and gun or the more popular, shoot and scoot)

Ever notice how you always seem to end up on the godawful team where every one of your team-mates runs out into chopper gunner fire, refuses to shoot down air support, camps in corners instead of capping flags and generally sucks?

Then you're playing really well and suddenly boom, unavoidable Predator missile to the face.

Probably happens due to me playing alone, if I had a clan to back me up said task might be a bit easier.

Please, I'm lucky if I am on that team! I have had teams run at me when they see an enemy pred coming down (I am not joking!), I have seen kill cams were the guy could have had a triple kill with a pred but got me alone, I have had team mates let the enemy kill me so they can knife them.

This isn't my teams fault but I have been behind 2 of my allies with a thin gap between them and guess who dies first? I get all the worst luck.

When the enemy doesn't shoot down harriers I die and pull out the riot shield class and boost on up (I know, dick move but it stops my team getting killed and I get nice juicy EXP), if they run into chopper gunner/AC130 fire, I die a little inside.

I kind of understand why people try to get a good K/D, but surely running into that kind of fire power is nothing but ruining there precious K/D, it makes no sense.

I never have. But my friend has about 47 legit nukes last time I checked. He's insane.

Yeah, MW2 can be irritating like that. I have gotten a nuke once, when I was completely owning with a Vector, but I've also gotten to 24 kills and then gotten noob-tubed, and that was the end of my MW2 playing.

Ive had three but ive unequipped them now and you know what? its much more fun. My highest killstreak is 39, because my harriers and pavelow shoot the shit out of anything that moves and when they leave they get the chopper gunner to deal with.

Seriously if i were you i would just get it once, because it feels awesome, then your done.

EDIT: i should also mention that just before my first nuke i had three 24 killstreaks ending in noobtubes, lagging out, and being knifed. And that isnt fun.

Got the full nuke barracks unlock thingy through mainly normal play, dont like keeping it as a killstreak though as using it always seems a little stupid..

However, an easy method of getting nukes is to use a UMP with silencer, akimbo G18's, slight of hand / scavenger, stopping power and ninja pro. Harriers - Chopper gunner - Nuke.
It's horribly overpowered.

Oh and claymores, always claymores.

Kit yourself with this class:

FAL with teh toobes.
Akimbo TMP's or the RPG'z
Semtex.
Stun Grenades.
Scavanger Pro.
Stopping Power pro
Scrambler pro.

Wut, a single TMP is rather good (although prefer the PP2000), but akimbo has horrendous accuracy and a tiny magazine size.

Extended mags TMP has less recoil than the ACR, I think it kills in the same amount of time aswell.

Yeah but he's talking about akimbo tmp's, which is pretty terrible. Unfortunately the iron sights on it are horrible as well.

If your willing to be a real douche, here's how to get it... I must warn you though, its a SERIOUS douche move.

Get a friend to go on the other team, both of you be stealthy to the max.

Friend needs to have tactical insertion for this, so they respawn at one spot.

Go into a secluded corner of the map, and friend puts down the tactical insertion.

Kill friend, wait until he puts another tactical insertion down and repeat 25 times.

KA-BOOM!

Here's a horribly cheap way I saw a couple months back: Get one of your friends to play on the other team in deathmatch, then go hide somewhere and just keep knifing him when he respawns. Saw a guy get four nukes in four games, my roommate was playing and couldn't figure out what was happening until I pointed out that in the kill feed the player was just knifing the same guy over and over.

First nuke is always the hardest. Just use the harrier and chopper gunner on domination, then you'll see how easy they are.

I've been trying that but my killstreaks always seem to get shot down as soon as they're up.

My Harrier NEVER gets me to 11 kills, 1 or 2 at most. And unfortunately my skills aren't the best so it's hard for me to get to 7 kills with no help from UAV and Predators, I achieve it maybe once every 3 games. Sigh.

But the class you described sounds good. I'll try it!

I admit it though... I do sometimes follow team-mates and clean up the mess when they run out into a barrage of fire. I know, I'm a douche.

Oh, but to answer the topic, I never got close to use one because I simply don't want to. I rather chain an air strike, a chopper and an emergency x3 drop. Seems to work well enough. Plus, I could always get a nuke through the drop...

ME2, I wanted to beat it on insanity, well on the collector ship I got stuck, as an infiltrator, so I restarted the game as a soldier and wrecked that place(and the game eventually).

I'm using soldier and I think I know the part you're stuck at cause I am too, with all the floating platforms?

I have never even tried to get a nuke. I would probably fail any way because I suck at MW2.

I'm using soldier and I think I know the part you're stuck at cause I am too, with all the floating platforms?

I was stuck there, the best thing I can say is, when your companions fall, leave them down until you take out the scion because that's what kills them.

Lol off topic, but yes that bit was a nightmare. Once you get past that though, Insanity is pretty easy.

The most I've gotten up to is a little past a Stealth Bomber.

I haev a friend who says he's gotten over 70 nukes though.
I've been in matches with him and he gets them rather easily...

And honestly, it probably is your reaction time. Nothing you can do about that, but landing yourself host spot tends to help. Or at least it helps me. I lag like fucking nuts if I'm not host.
