I haven't played street fighter 4 in a long time, but when I came back to it, this became my "Come on" moment.

Your next opponent is....Zangief!

Onimusha, when Samanosuke is trapped in a flooding room and Kaede has to solve a sliding block puzzle to save him. I HATE sliding block puzzles, and suck at them under normal circumstances. And now I have to do one under a TIME LIMIT?! Oh, come on now!!

Chrono Cross, at the end of the first disc. I spent days trying to win that damn boss fight against Lynx, who wiped the floor with me every time. Then I finally beat him, and sat back to watch the cutscene that I was sure would explain all kinds of things. And then...my game froze.

Fortunately I'd saved right after the fight, but that didn't do me much good with a bad disc. I ended up having to contact Square Enix and send them my copy of the game so they could replace it. u_u
Fuck sliding box puzzles! I failed that section about 6 times! And it took me literally a whole real life hour to do the sliding box puzzle in RE4 as Ashley!

Shogun 2:

"Your ninja has a 95% chance of successfully assassinating this harmless and unarmed Christian missionary."

"Your ninja was caught and executed."

Useless bastard!

"Your clan has all the unique trade resources but no other clan will trade with you."

Arrgh!

"You are now Shogun-every last man, woman and child in all Japan is out for your blood and all your allies and vassels have betrayed you."

ARRGH!

Necrovision: Lost Company:

I still can't defeat the final boss because his bloody gas-mask spider minions keep attacking me from behind and shoving me into the path of his fireballs >:I

Yeah, Shogun 2 can be a pain
"What? My capital is under attack by two armies from different factions, one of which was my ally last turn and cumulating to 5000 men? On turn 15???"
Yeah >.>, a real pain...

I lost my best field army as the Chosokabe in enemy lands around turn 4 ("How the fuck do that AI lesser clan get so awesome!?!") and got reduced to just my starting province for around 20-30 turns, then my General became a big useless pervert and then I had to fight rebellions in all my provinces for another 20 turns because no one had any food >:I

Shogun does have a habit of that. If you are on Hard diff or higher, the AI spawns "Fantasy armies" that they could not possibly upkeep or recruit, which is a MASSIVE pain.
Oh, and this one time, My best general switched sides in a battle >.>

Wow, I was only on Normal but somehow that doesn't surprise me, especially as my son and heir was extremely disloyal and kept getting new disloyal attritubes no matter what he was doing (he won a great victory for my clan! Now he has a ambitious wife (-1 to loyalty)....bugger!) >_>

Easily solved by Metsuke :3
OT: I think Shogun 2 might be the worst culprit for perpetrating "Oh come on now!" moments. Its just a dick of a game sometimes. (Fun as hell though).

I had a lot of these yesterday while sniping in TF2. I can pull of brilliant shots of rocket/sticky jumping Soldiers and Demos, can pop Scouts in mid-jump, but I kept missing near-stationary Heavies. I mean, come oooon!

Actually, if you've payed attention to the story, you would've known that
she grew a conscience. Hell, she even explains how they've sort-of bonded when Chell saved her. Of course she can kill Chell, she just doesn't want to any more. It's quite obvious.

He's relatively easily trolled with any character with a ranged move.

I needed those to keep the hungry peasents in their place: I need better castles, hunger be dammed!

It does seem that way to me, I've not yet managed to complete a campaign on account of the Realm Divive (against you and only you, forever you) event >_>

My OH COME ON moment? The hidden area in Abe's Oddysee where you have to say 'Hello, follow me" and then RUNLIKEABITCH from the Scrab THREE TIMES to save the three different mudokons. And then at the last second you leave it too late to jump into your bird portal and you hit the wall, fall over, and get torn to shreds by the Scrab who is probably laughing harder than the laddergoat guy at your mis-timing.

I'm trying desperately to thing of a few good ones, but one keeps coming to mind. Final Fantasy XIII, the boss fight against Barthandalus (or however you spell it), i fought him over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over and over, and over and...well you get the idea...i finally beat him, jump up from my seat with excitment and shout "YES!"...only for a cutscene to play were he says "no mortal can defeat me".

I could have had the same cutscene from being beaten by him, as that is essentially what has happened.

I don't mind sliding block puzzles. I can do them fairly easily. That is, of course, as long as the puzzle is actually solvable. But if you solve most of the puzzle and end up with this:
1234
5678
9101112
131514 .
. . then it is mathematically impossible to solve it. No clever moves will flip the 14 and 15 without messing up something else. If the programmer didn't know this, and it slips through testing, you'll get an unsolvable puzzle half the time.

When you get 5 hit combo'd in MK when their HP is at like || this much. Then Xray you and you lose.

FUUUUUUUUUUU

Especially annoying with Mileena.
yeah, that does my head in, so does Shao Kahns 4 shoulder charge combo or his X-ray (60% damage, coooome oooooon, even for a boss that's harsh)

Mileena's teleport air kick is the most annoying thing in this game so far.
four kicks and a forward roll??? she's a *****, least the game's not easy i spose.

I got quite a few OH COME ON moments playing Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus. Oddysee especially as there was no quicksave function back then. So you have scenarios where you need to be chased by a scrab (which are giant fucking red monsters that kill you if you so much as touch them, miss a jump by a centimetre or stop running for even a second) for about 5 screens, while leading a single mudoken to safety.

And you need to do this THREE TIMES... back and forth.

It takes absolute, flawless timing and precision and if you screw up a tiny bit you have to start all over again because there's no quicksave. It's enough to almost make you pull your beard out. Fun though and extremely satisfying when you succeed.

Every time I'm cloaked and I bump into an enemy Pyro or enemy holding a shotgun. Since I use Conniver's Kunai and my max health is shit in a bun, four out of five times I'm instakilled.
Don't use it. Terrible weapon in general. In fact, probably about 80% of the weapons in TF2 are useless after the engineer update.

and on the topic of TF2: Snipers. Bloody snipers.

Not sure if this one counts, but apparently the Australian Government's rethink of the R 18+ is to add it but to get rid of MA 15+.

Okay, granted this way doesn't mean we miss out on the next Mortal Kombat but what's the bloody point that?

Blood Bowl has these moments, thanks to it's reliance on dice rolls. In one match I lost ever. single. one. of my rolls; passes, blocks, even picking up the freakin' ball, even when using top notch players!
Oh dude, I would have quit without saving and started again. I can take a loss, but bullshit is the limit :p

But yeah, bloodbowl for me too. I had an ogre go up to a snotling and roll three attacker down dice.

A SNOTLING. Do you have any idea how small those things are? Heres a hint.

An ogre is roughly twice your size.

A snotling will, if its particularly tall, make it to your knee.
