The Old Doctor...

So, now that I've wrapped up David Tennant's final episode as "The Doctor" and not really looking forward to the long wait until I can legally acquire some of the new Matt Smith episodes I'm still in need of some "Doctor" treatment and hence I am wondering...

What of the earlier series's is good?

I mean, there is a hell of a lot of it and I'd prefer to look before I leap, as it were.

I grew up with Tom Baker's Doctor and he's always been my favorite. His best one was "Genesis of the Daleks" in my opinion, but most of the stuff from that era was pretty good.

Yeah, alot of Tom Baker's stuff is great. Such as Talons of Weng-Chiang, or The Deadly Assassain. Final story of Peter Davidson (Cave of the Andrazi (sp?)) is a good one too.

And plus he has a hot companion, which none of the other doctors really had.

I like Matt Smith, I've seen some of the new episode. I also like the new TARDIS. plus his Sonic Screwdriver is green now.

Does anyone know a really good place to pick up the old episodes? I've been searching all over, and the best I can find is a single season for $60, and it took me a long time to even find that. I really would like to watch the older series, but would hate to pay out the nose for it.
