A legend of Zelda - 1986, Feb 21st
Super Mario Bros 3 - 1988, Oct 23rd
and perhaps a few others that I can't remember.

Most of the C64 games I kept are from the mid to late eighties. I think the earliest is Impossible Mission from 1984. Destroy him...my robots.

Ape Escape for the PS1 is the oldest I have, I think. The release date was the same as that of the dual shock game pad

I hope this counts. Took some time to find the right console since there are loads of different ones. One of the controllers doesnt work thanks to some minor issues and my friend should fix it shortly. Still

Pong, 1977

I have a ton of old flight sims that my father bought.

The only one I remember was Red Baron 2 from 1997.

There was this other game, it was much older. All I remember was that it had "Aces" in the title. That's all. No idea what that it was really called. That was from the late 80's I think. It's for the PC. He had it on an ancient laptop.
could be aces of the pacific. now that was a darn good game the manual alone had beautiful full colour artwork of each of the planes, etc.
Nope, that wasn't it. The one I'm thinking of was WW1 and It barely had color. When you fired the guns, the muzzle flashes were blue. That might have just been because of the laptop, but I'm not sure...

EDIT: So I did find the game, War Eagles: World War 1 Aerial Combat Simulation by Celery Software made in 1993. So yeah, I was a bit off there. Thankfully, Your comment sparked my to get off my ass and actually do research and I remembered that "Eagle" was in the name. I then went into another room and found it under a copy of Age of Mythology.

So mystery solved!

I have the original Mortal Kombat for the genesis in mint condition. The poor genesis is dead in a shoe box somewhere.

Tetris for the old Game Boy or Pokemon Red. I have played them ever since I got them and I if they weren't made to last I would have run them into the ground a long time ago. The A button and the directional pad on my Game Boy have long since become smooth from use. :)

I have an NES Metroid and Tetris lying around the house somewhere. I got them as hand-me-downs from some friend's of my parents, and my parents accepted not understanding the difference between a NES and an SNES (which was what I had, which was also a hand-me-down from another family friend).
