Yeah surprisingly I can find games that I wanted and no one else can find at my local walmart. They've had an age of empires collection for ages.

For me, I can never find it...Damage Incorperated. One of the best shooters of the mid nineties.
It's because nobody ever looks there. They always think electronics or games stores instead of regular retail like Walmart or Target.

Yeah my nearby, regular target store had the original half life games( Counter, blue shift, and original) sitting on their shelves until some collector bought them last year. When the diablo and starcraft battle chests were all sold out during the big hype of the games in the past few years due to sc2 coming out and Diablo 3 coverage, they were still sitting there. As was a complete original stronghold collection. If people were to turn their eyes from pure electronics and gaming stores, they'd see the gems these retail giants tend to hide on their dusty shelves.

I go to my local store first before anything when looking for a new game. Fallout 3, oblivion....hell I even saw six copies of APB still on the shelves until I explained to the manager that the game couldn't work anymore.

For people looking for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus...
This --> http://www.amazon.com/ICO-Shadow-Colossus-Collection-Playstation-3/dp/B002I0J5FG/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1298439160&sr=1-2

For those too lazy or untrusting to click the link; both games are being re-released in one collection for PS3. For 38.99 USD on Amazon.com even, which is way cheaper than trying to track the originals down and buy them used.

I bought Shadow when it first came out, lucky for me! I'll never forget how it felt to face my first colossus.

I stumbled upon Ico at a Gamestop about a year ago and snatched it up right away. It freezes up and glitches out all the time. ;_; I'm too lazy to go check the disc, but I think it's a blue back. My PS2 is racist against those blues.

More on topic: I'm looking for Persona 2. Or I was. Until they released news that they were remaking it for the PSP. So now I just need to buy a PSP. I had a longer list of games, but I've managed to track down most of them by some weird luck. I actually found Persona 2 at a used game store but when they put it in a PSone to test it for me, it wouldn't run...

Trapt, Okage: Shadow King, Threads of Fate, Wild Arms 2, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Shadow Hearts, Shadow of Destiny.. There's a couple off of the top of my head. I hunted for YEARS for some of them. But now they are on mah shelf! Some were given to me, some were dirt cheap, even at Gamestop. Some were expensive.. Urgh. Lookin' at you Shadow Hearts. Lookin' at you.

A few people have mentioned American McGee's Alice. McGee's personal blog forums can be found here. [http://www.americanmcgee.com/forum/] There's a thread called "Ask American". Sign up and ask the man himself where you can get a copy. He seems to be very good at getting back to people on that forum. He might just say "Sorry, you have to go to Amazon or E-Bay.", but hell, at least you tried.

For me it's MDK 2, which I have no idea where to get it. The other is the original Quake. The kicker is I do own the the original Quake, but how the hell am I supposed to find a disk I bought in 1996, and has been buried for 14 years. Oh the frustration.

Bioshock on PC WHY THE FUCK CAN'T I FIND YOU?
Erm... Steam.
Steam does fairly well with holding older titles.

Alice (been looking for a few years)
Secret weapons of the Luftwaffe (Been looking for a decade)

There's another one, but I can't remember what it was. Will have to post later maybe.

Steam. While they don't have Alice, they do have Oblivion, Dead Space, and Bioshock.

American McGee's Alice and Clive Barker's Undying. I would give anything for a remake of either, and with the new Alice game I'm hoping the original will be re-released in some form.
Agreed. I'd pay for Alice like it was a new game. I read that EA LOST the source code. PWNT. /cry

There was this old game compilation I had way back when, Galaxy of Games it was called. I cannot remember the version but it was out and about back when I was running Windows 95.

Specifically though I want to find a game I remember called Critical Mass, I played that to death just on the demo version.

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time
Sold out everywhere and no signs of new shipments coming. >.<

I was also looking for the Uncharted games for a long time, and they finally got the first game back in storage recently. They should arrive in my mailbox today. :)

Found it on PS3 for you at The Hut. Don't know if you'd prefer it on 360 though. :/
