Im starting to get irrated by the "last game you played..." or "last enemy you killed..." threads, like the last enemy you killed wants to marry you etc. etc.

People thinking thta "troll" is interchangable with "person who disagrees with me or is doing something that I don't like."
It's not that they dissagree but how, perhaps deliberate flamer would be a more appropriate term but there are those that would claim that it was a homophobic slur.

Serious websites! They're taking up room that could be used by porn or tinfoil hat websites! LOL

I don't like that so much on the internet made of hate. EVERYONE hates EVERTHING and very rarely have any good argument as to why they hate it.
I wish people could just realize that people aren't "retarded" because they have a different opinion on which music is good. Or how to dress. Or what anime is the best.

It's sooo fucking needless to have huge flamewars about whether God is real, or whether homosexuals should be allowed to marry. Or whether CoD or Battlefield is better. But I guess that's what the internet takes from real life. Only here people are anonymous. But that is really what I don't like about the internet. Pretty much everything is pretty harmless but everyone gets so fucking worked up about things/jokes/opinions and blow them WAAY out of proportion.

- "[number] people missed the like button." It is no longer witty and original.

- Girls talking about "Black Ops <3" on facebook. They mean "I was never really into games but I'm interested in saying how much I love Black Ops now because all the boys do and COD is a facebook meme. It's popular so it must be good." Okay, I'm unfairly making assumptions about people's motives, sorry..

- "FML". It's just whiny and lame.

- Girls posting pictures of themselves in a cute pose and saying "ew no I'm yuck" when someone compliments them.

I could think of more.

Oh god, this thing. People who say this should be ashamed of themselves. It's enough to make one lose all faith in that one person who says it.

Avatar bashing. It was a good movie, it had its faults just like any other blockbuster, but I just don't see why people love to hate it so much.
Does that make us the only two people that liked it?
Hang on, I'm going to start an annoying thread.
And then someone will post about it on this one.

Encyclopedia Dramatica.

Little 14 year old creeps that sit around analyzing people on the internet. Every "article" (I prefer the term 'wordvomit') uses the same writing style, the same jokes and the same 4chan meme garbage. The site claims to be a parody of Wikipedia, which has already been parodied by Uncyclopedia, making its existence totally worthless.

Why is it that Anime fans defend anime, without accepting any sort of criticism from anyone...ever. There are flaws in anime just like in everything else and people are going to bash them just because of that. Because that's what people do.
I guess the problem is not that anime fans can't stand criticism... i guess it is because the criticism is being irrationally made.
I accept criticism when it is well-made. The thing I regularly see in those who hate anime it always the same argument: "a lot of emo/fags/teenagers doing stuff" or "anime characters are so unreal". If they explained what "emo" means or what "unreal" means, that would be ok. But they don't.
So I can't, by my principles, accept any kind of argumentation that does not explain itself...
I could state that so many western character are also "unreal", and just flame around the forum with that.

If someone want to criticise animes, go ahead, but please, have good arguments. Or at least, a little of respect. It is not because you hate something that you don't have to respect it.
I have some western sterotypes, however, i respect them, because I know they are legit culture-originated characters, and I know that wihtout stereotypes, there is no strong character structure in any story (according to the formalist narrative theory).

VS Threads - Simply too many of them. Halo/CoD vs Other Big FPS are the worst, Halo vs CoD is just rectal bleeding in text form.

My opinion > your opinion threads - It's a fucking opinion, get off your high horse and accept people have different ones.

Flame wars - Eh, maybe not so much since many forums have dedicated places for it, but when one appears due to a single comment in an otherwise okay thread it annoys me.

Religious debates that only focuses on the rightness of one religion over atheism - As much as I love debating religion from an atheist standpoint, it annoys me when a Christianity versus Atheist debate arises from some close minded fool that doesn't realise that there are a myriad of other religions that could be correct. The way that, in such a case, the Christian who starts the arguement will generally act as though their religion is the right one without even considering other religions in the arguement.

Game reviews/comments written purely to go against what the majority thinks, and the poster acts as though they have the superior opinion - Look at my second problem with the internet.

Games are/aren't art topics - I personally think they are art and am happy to explain why. Doesn't mean I have to shove it in the face of those who don't think it's art and try to force them to accept it themselves, much like I don't find pictures, books or movies a decent art form and hate it when people shove them in my face telling me they're fun and intriguing art forms.

Any of the above events where the creator seems totally oblivious to the fact these topics are overdone - Now this is a little harder to explain, as new users to a site are generally going to be unaware of current goings on. But when I See someone with a 5000 post backlog bring up another stupid vs thread, I get annoyed. Especially if that person seems to be generally regarded as one of the forum oldies who everyone seems to know and show some form of respect to with regards to their opinions.

Unoriginallity and lack of self critisicm, usually the first is a sympton of the later.

Wanna know what i'm talking about? go to you tube, see how much crap is uploaded, how many times can you find someone who uploaded the same music as the 10 guys before him, only this time the user-made lyrics comes swirling in on the screen instead of fading in.
The same thing goes here, on this site "i know this is the 1o'th zombie apoc thread this week, but it has a twist! you're wearing a hat this time */tardface"

In some cases, originality isn't required for something to be usefull, in a thread liek this for instance, you're gonna see shitloads of replies that are more or less the same, but it makes sense, cause asking an open question like that, seeing that lots and lots of people have the same oppinion makes sense, by that you'll understand that "hey this is not just one grumpy dude who got teh wrong leg out of bed, who's tired about hearing how the cake isn't real, it's a shitload of people, maybe it really is a worn out meme"

If you upload stuff on an art forum for instance, sure you may very well have uploaded a pic or video remsmbling the same thing 10 peopel did before you and better to booth, but since you're uploading it for the sake of recieving criticism, it makes sense to do so.
If you upload a video on youtube for teh sake of criticism, it's okay, apart from the fact that you severely overestiamte the cahnces of getting anything usefull out of the youtube comments section, if you do it and goes "look what i made, it's so awesome!" and uploaded teh same pile of shit tons of peopel have done before you, you just fail.
But far too often, you see people uploading some truly uninterresting crap with no entertainment value or any otehr redeeming factors with comments like "i just saw this (link to identical video) so i thought i'd have a go on making the same thing" gratz, you just marked yourself as an unoriginal attention-whore with no sense of self criticicm, bet you parents are proud, but then again it's prolly their over-use of back-padding and lack of constructive criticicm taht made you this way in the first place...

This is also true for memes, some are funny, for a period of time, some are never funny at all, yet both get spammed to everyone is sick of them and then some, think about the cake, now you know what i'm saying.
Some are better suited for living on, cause they're made in a way so that the people can keep making new original versions of them, think about demotivators, ofc lack of self critisicm ensures that 90% of them are shit or worse, but new good ones keep showing up.

If people but a little mroe effort and thought into what they spewed up on the interwebz, maybe you'd have to dih through much less crap in order to get to the good stuff you came for.

better end this here, rage-off.

Although I have to disagree when the comment relates to the video, like "254 people were killed by RC-XDs in their first game" or something. ^^

Everyone that tries to BE yahtzee.

People who post on comments sections of videos when they haven't even watched it yet.

People who post only to compliment, for instance someone who replies "great vid! keep it up!" to one of the videos on any website that are already popular and aren't in any danger of failing or getting cancelled and have already had 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 compliment posts. Seriously, is that ALL you can think of to say? SAY SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE.

This also applies to news posts and articles, not just videos.

People who say that they like something when they know it sucks, just to support the company that they love so damn much for no reason.

The people I hate most, are hybrids of all the above mentioned.

I'm mostly just ranting about the forums on WWW.SWTOR.com though, mostly .
