I'm with you, but especially SG-1. Probably because I am a HUGE MacGyver fangirl too. Dammit, RDA is so awesome... ;-)

Agreed he is amazing though I've never actually seen MacGyver I'll probably start watching it when I finish with season 2 of Universe.

OT: Mafia, KotOR and The Sands of Time for games. I'd probably come across as a fanboy if someone started criticising The Prestige (by Christopher Nolan), if only because everyone criticises the end of the film for doing exactly what it should have done.

Best programming language I've ever used. Most fun I've had with my computer since forever. I moved on from C about 8 years ago now, never looked back, and I feel naked without the ++. You couldn't ever find a more attractive programming language for me, unless it is C++0x (which is C++ with even more amazing features ).

That, and Lua. Lua is the wonderful best-buddy to C and C++. So simple and easy to use, yet so extremely powerful.

Batman!

I have become the biggest batman fangirl that I know. (And no it didn't start after The Dark Knight)
I will squeal whenever I see a new batman movie coming out or if I see something with the batman symbol on it. I have always love Batman, ever since I was little and started watching Batman: The animated series (I got Volume 1 for Christmas. So happy!)

I even stole my brother-in-laws little Batman figurine. My boyfriend just rolls his eyes when I get a new Batman item but I don't care. He better be lucky Batman isn't real.

Batman. Do I need a reason? He's the goddamn BATMAN (terrible nerd-pun intended)

I could make an hour long video review talking about how much I fucking love this comic and how brilliant it is. It's been kind of sucking for while now, but when Berserk was good, it was fenomenally good.

Yayy, another Prime fan! Now for some questions, if that's ok.

How do you feel the Prime series compares with 2D Metroid, namely Super Metroid? Do you have a preference between the two?

And what are your feelings on Echoes and Corruption?

Lastly, do you refute the existence of Other M, like so many others?

Super metroid was awesome, no doubt about that, but I think that Prime is a little more immersive. I think it's just the first person aspect.

Echoes was also a fantastic game... up until the end. The whole fetch-quest for the keys was just too tedious to put myself through. Hell, I've never even finished Echoes because of it. Prime had the same sort of thing, but it introduced the quest at the beginning of the game so you could do it throughout the game, so that it didn't get tedious.

Corruption was different than the other two Prime games, being far more structured. It was also a great game and also had a fallout at the end segment, like Echoes. You also had to go on a fetch quest at the end, this time collecting energy cells, but you collected them throughout most of the game, especially if you had a thing for exploration. It could get a little tedious at the end if you weren't exploring all the time, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as Echoes' fallout. Now then, let's get to the final boss. This is where I got a little angry. Why is the final boss the first AI infected with the virus? Shouldn't that have come first, then, when it's defeated, Dark Samus makes her appearance? Dark Samus is Metroid Prime! She should, without a shadow of a doubt, have been the final boss.

Now then. Other M. I want to refute it's existence yes and I DO call it non-canon. Simply for the fact that Samus says in Other M that she has never worked in a joint operation with the federation. So in other words, Corruption never happened, therefore the Prime trilogy doesn't have an ending, therefore it never happened.
Then we have the fact that Other M turned Samus from an ass-kicker into a crybaby that can only do things when told to by a man. More specifically a madman, that she sees as a father figure, who routinely sends the people who work under him, specifically her, on suicide missions and even physically harms them from time to time. Seriously, the shit that Adam pulls would never fly. Ever.
Then we have average platforming with no original ideas.
Then we have broken, shitty combat and no I'm not just talking about the first person mode, the third person combat blows chunks too.
Then we have the complete lack of freeroaming, one of the things that characterises the Metroid series.

Well, I think that's all I've got.

First a foremost, the swedish film Let The Right One In because its an absolute masterpiece of a film and really struck me...

Others include the band Radiohead and Aphex Twin because both are revolutionary and amazing <3
I can't count the amount of types Radiohead's music has kept me company at the sad and happy times.

Friends(show), i just love it so much.Watching it is as good as a cup of a lemon tea on a rainy day.

Half-Life 2, because of the story, the characters, the gameplay itself.Everything about this game is pure gold.I wish i could go back in time and play it for the first time again.

Metal Gear Solid, because it just might be the best game series ever created.

Kane and Lynch, because of the Kane and Lynch.You say poor gameplay, i say great characters.
