The Nebula Whip from Castlevania (taken in context, it's supposed to seek out evil on its own and bind it) would be fun to toy around with.
Barring that, a Green Lantern Ring would substitute nicely.

If it had to be real life...
1) Dual-sword (Darth Maul style). I can actually fight with one reasonably well. A variant where the blades split (ala Cao Pi from Dynasty Warriors 5) would be preferable.

2) Sig Sauer 226 Custom firing .40 S&W. Why? No richochet, penetrates all but the absolute best armor out there, comes subsonic, and is really fucking accurate for a handgun in its weight. Great for personal defense and sport shooting alike.
The only problem(s) is that it costs way too much for me to afford, and I would have to pay extra for importing it.

I'm a (realistic) pistol man. There's just something so appealing to me about being able to bring death or destruction in the form of a small, concealable "Hand-cannon". So, I'd probably go with a Colt .45

A while ago, I had a mild addiction to the Call of Duty games, so I would say the perfect weapon would be the MP40 from COD World at War, but with no recoil and unlimitted ammo. Yeah, give me that one.

Honestly, who didn't want a lightsaber as a kid? Hell, I bet the three people who didn't like Star Wars wanted a lightsaber.

The Painkiller. Or the minigun/rocket laucher... or the gun that fires lightning and ninja stars... Painkiller did have some pretty badass weapons...

Why haven't I bought Painkiller yet?

If we count vehicle weapons, The Void Ray from Starcraft 2, because I win so many matches with it, I've stopped using them.

As for actual Weapons, The Meggido Blade from Golden Sun: Lost Age, because what better weapon is there than one that lets you call down the fucking sun an infinite number of times?

I also like the 10mm pistol from Deus Ex. If you modify the hell out of it it's one of the best weapons in the game.

Also from Deus Ex, the riot prod. Can't find a good picture of it though.
