I think the Path is more like, interactive art. I mean, if you think about it view art isn't much FUN, but it's interesting, and it does become mundane if you stare at a painting for over an hour. Probably.
The thing is, if I want to see art, I'd go to the Tate Modern. I love art, I really do - writing, drawing, painting, sculpture - to the point where I've actually had my own work on display in a gallery - but when I sit down at my PC, I want something with a little more, well, structure to it.lyfeindeyth said:I think the Path is more like, interactive art. I admit, it is intriguing. Not much behind the idea though.lyfeindeyth said:So an indie game like 'The Path' intrigues me greatly! Has anyone here tried it? How large do you think this sort of Gothic genre is, because whenever I go to EB Games, I never see anything similar to The Path.
Have you completed her side of the story, I'm having trouble could you PM me saying what to look for i"ve spent three hours on her aloneMansur said:I have been playing it for a few weeks now. Yet I still can not consider it a game, since there is still no real objective given.
It is still deep, atmospheric, and a very immersing play; although it feels more like an art-form than anything else.

I'm thinking about buying it, and I've seen some gameplay footage so I roughly know quite a bit about it.Zhukov said:OP: Are you wondering whether or not to buy it, or have you already played it and want to discuss it?
I guess I'm not just directing this to you, but what would the graphic requirements be for this game? Oh, is there that 'DCM' security protection on this? Or can I download this onto multiple computers? (If my laptop decides to hang itself in frustration of trying to run it).The Blue Mongoose said:The Path is possibly the creepiest game I have ever played. Nothing has ever unsettled me like that. It is a bit confusing, and you'll probably have to play through multiple times with each girl to find everything. But damn, it is worth the effort when you see the whole picture.
I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it there. I say play it. I loved Ruby the most.
Look to Steam my friend. It shall answer all your questions and more. I can't see the requirements beeing all that high though.lyfeindeyth said:I guess I'm not just directing this to you, but what would the graphic requirements be for this game? The requirements aren't too steep, it's not the most graphics-intensive game. And yeah, you can download it from Steam, so you can play it on any PC.lyfeindeyth said:I guess I'm not just directing this to you, but what would the graphic requirements be for this game? I know what you mean. After just about the third girl, I began to feel overwhelmed by this odd feeling of dread. I guess it's because I knew what was coming and I knew it was going to be awful, but I had to do it.The Blue Mongoose said:The Path is possibly the creepiest game I have ever played.
