I will start this reply by laughing at your statistics.Did you hire Calumon to do those for you?

Now on topic: No I can't do this I have nothing.I hate chemistry and everything it stands for.....wait.
How'd you guess? Nah, but seriously I just threw out a random number to make people feel good (or bad) about themselves so they'd reply in the thread, BWAHAHAHAH!. Awesome tactics right? RIGHT?!
Well played sir.

Four way toss up between Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Hydrogen. Mainly because those four comprise my favorite compound: C[sub]7[/sub]H[sub]5[/sub]N[sub]3[/sub]O[sub]6[/sub]

EDIT:

Also, I have to post this. The opportunity is too good to pass on.

Bear in mind this was made awhile ago.

Carbon. Because...well, kinda essential to..existence and stuff.

Silicon - For its computing power and ability to make pure electricity from light.

Carbon - For its diversity. I mean everything from puppies to diamonds? Gotta respect that.

Neon - Due to its properties when exposed to a current.

Hydrogen - Everything comes from it anyway, also because it could be the best fuel for the future (Hydrogen cells and fusion reactions).

H - Hydrogen

Because it's pretty much your best friend during both acid-base and non-organic chemistry, which should be your first year.

It's also _just_a_proton_!

Caesium because when you put a tiny piece of it in glass bowl of water it explodes with enough force to shatter the bowl.

That's just cool.

H - Hydrogen

Hydrogen is my favorite. It burns, glows, fissions, fuses, and it is the most abundant element in the universe. Our world would not exist without it.

Besides, amateur fusion reactors are AMAZING! I'm thinking of building one myself! Deuterium FTW!

EDIT: No, the fusion devices in the videos aren't mine.

Bromine because one, its one of the only elements that are liquid at room temprature (mercury also), and 2 it starts with BRO it doesnt get any cooler than that. and s

Fluorine. The most reactive element, toxic gas, forms very strong acids (corrodes glass, quite easily) and its compounds have a habit of spontaneous combustion.

Tom Lehrer is/was a musical genius! That's the first thing that pops into my head when someone mentions the periodic table!

Nitrogen.

All those lovely nitrogen-based explosives... Fun stuff it is. Add it to an organic molecule, in it suddenly becomes interesting. Or combine with a little oxygen and hydrogen and carbon and oh my what do we have:Nitryglycerin.

Put it to a liquid form and watch things freeze....

So many interesting things to be done with Nitrogen. It's fun and safe for all ages - really, whaddya ya mean explosions are bad? They're so bright and colourful and warm and fun and interesting and mesmerizing and...

Where did I put that bag of fertilizer again?

Does "75% intellectual people" mean that each person is 75% intellectual, or that 75% of people are intellectual?

Anyhoo, I'm going for antimony, because I like the name.

Eh? Hydroflouric acid is the weakest of that group. It goes HF < HCl < HBr < HI (It says Hi, I like that acid) < HAt (This one is theoretical based on trends, At is too unstable to actually test it.)

Also, it's not so much the most reactive as it is the most electronegative, there is a difference. That said, Fluorine is pretty awesome, if only for the aforementioned electronegativity.

OT: It's hard to pick a favorite... I guess I'll cheat, I'm a fan of Copper's group. I find it interesting that Silver (Ag) and Gold (Au) have been popular elements and used as currency, and not only are they in the same group, but that group has interesting electrical properties (The group has Xs[sup]1[/sup](X-1)d[sup]10[/sup] Where the s group usually fills ahead of time.

(Erm... I'm a chemistry major... I like this stuff...)
