Why the PS2? For god's sake, why isn't that thing dead yet?
Because the PS2 is the best gaming console of this generation.

Also, 2 hours in, and I have to say, it's starting better than Persona 3.

I should probably study instead of playing.

I wish....

I already fucked myself over leaving all my papers and stuff to this week.

I finished Nocturne not to long ago. True demon ending is impossible took me so long to get past that. P3 got me into the Tensei games and I have DDS coming by gamefly soon.

Well I have to go in for a dentist appointment today at 3:00, I'm going to leave work a little early and hopefully I can pick it up and get some play time in before I get drilled and my whole day is ruined.

Edit: Also, when are we going to get Susan Arendt's review of P4 anyway?

The game, it is awesome.

But I think we all expected this.

The opening portion is much better than Persona 3's, and it involves you much more quickly.

The ability to quick move around the locations in the city instead of having to tromp out is also useful.

Persona 4 is gonna rock my world when it gets released, though there is no release date for a PAL version yet.

In any case, I've been a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series ever since I rented (from Blockbuster) the third game in the series proper, Lucifer's Call/Nocturne. Now I can't get enough of the demons and occult settings of the SMT series and its spinoffs (Persona, Devil Summoner, Demikids, Last Bible etc). The series is great for people like me who have become burnt out on fantasy setting after fantasy setting of other RPGs, and somehow the modern setting never gets old.

For DS owners, Devil Survivor has been announced and there are pics of it on the internet. It's an SMT game set in a quaranteed Tokyo where a bunch of teens are left alone in the demon infested city. Plenty of talking to demons and fighting action, I look forward to that too.

Lastly, Hee-ho! (If anyone doesn't get that, leave the thread now)

Hee-ho is something that Jack Frost says quite regularly at the end of or before sentences.

I think Pyro Jack does too, but it's been a while.
