Cake is too dry for me, I like the sweet, fruity taste of of pie. Of course, a bad crust can ruin a good pie.

Pumpkin pie and mincemeat pie are always good, never really had a taste for key lime or kumquat pies though.

I can't stand pie. I'm crazy picky about textures, and pie filling is just... eyuch! French Silk pie is ok if I'm in the mood, and so is strawberry pie, but everything else just doesn't do it for me.

Can someone tell me what the hell a Pot-Pie is? (British here).

I know where the greatest savoury pie shop in the world is, Manchester, near Saddleworth.
They do the best Pork pies ever. You have to eat them hot... awwww.....yeah....

I'll have to try a Pumpkin pie soon (again, British here).
I love hot Mince pies, I had one with Brandy cream and it was awesome...

Oh sweet merciful Hendrix* why didn't I think of this. Pie is my favorite thing in the world. The greatest thing ever created by humans.

My personal favorite is banana cream pie, but I'm also quite partial to pumpkin pie and cheesecake. Truth be told, I've never met a pie I didn't like.
