Most of the info is in the title, it has been out for most of the day and some of you have probably at least played it, so rate it from 1-10 right here!

My rating: 8

*EDIT* 1 is the lowest, 10 is the highest

How can you rate it 8 when the complete version isn't available?

The 360-English version had game breaking gliches and was removed so they could patch it. I downloaded it this morning before school, got back home desperate to play it, and all of the sudden it crashes. Check out the Bethesda or GameFaqs forums for all the juicey details you need.

Honestly I have to give it a 7 or so. I preferred it to Operation Anchorage, but I haven't been very impressed with either of the Fallout DLCs. Bethesda's formula just doesn't work very well with small add on quests. Where they excel is at creating epic, expansive worlds. The quests inside those worlds are usually kind of lack luster. They have less interesting characters and more cliche and sometimes boring plots than your average RPG, but we forgive those problems because of the shear amount of content they give us and the immersive world in which they put that content. This simply can't be accomplished very well with short addons. They only reason that Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles for Oblivion worked was because they were both much greater undertakings than either of the Fallout DLCs. I thought they did a better job with The Pitt than Ancorage, but I would really much rather that they leave Fallout behind and move on to Elder Scrolls 5.

Fallout 3 was an interesting game for me and is one of my favourite games to play, so any DLC for Fallout3 i'm getting.

So far i'm liking it, but i have a nagging feeling its going to end too soon.
It feels like more Fallout 3 not like Anchorage.
As long as it lasts a decent amount of time, Pitt will be well worth the money. (£8ish i think)

I liked it, but it was way too short!!!! Took me less time than anchorage to beat and still get all 100 pieces. Also, though it was kinda cool, they shouldve assumed that some people would be completionists and collect all 100 right away, i did that and when i turned them all in found myself with so much stuff that it was alittle overwhelming and just seemed like the designers were throwing all their new gear ideas at me, most of which we're repeats of old gear dropped by the first couple of guards the NPC killed. Honestly what happened to unique weapons and armor looking unique compared to what they came from, even if its just a different color it would still make it cooler.

AND WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE ARENA?!!! 3 fights, really? In Oblivion you fought like 20. Have me fight deathclaws, massive amounts of grogs, a giant spagetti monster I dont care make it longer haha.

Well thats just on my first play through, and I know I will play through again but as a good guy this time and maybe find some new activities but as it is now I am somewhat unimpressed. It seems like they are just putting little post-it notes on a larger board and calling them game addons. With them using a rediculous story like them needing you to open an armory door by completing a simulator as plot for the DLC really they could do anything in DC.

ah! I forgot to mention the arena. if you are a hoarder like me the arena was a joke. I just stood at the gate and machine gunned them to death.
It must have taken a while to program the code for the new area of the pitt, surely it would be an easier task to come up with some more missions maybe even difficult ones?
Poor show, but i can't help loving Fallout 3.
Bethesda are starting to ruin my respect for their great games. :(

I take that back. :( Just finished after maybe three or four hours game play.

5 out of ten

All the DLC will make sense in the long run, as everyone who has played it went in level 20 or higher. I think they are best played with a weaker character - with no prior knowlege to it - an example of this would be when a new player picks up GOY edition. They will be given these now 4 markers and will go to them, get their ass kicked due to their vunerability and make the game expiernce better as a whole. So in effect, i would give it a solid 8 in the fact it will click with the rest of the game and expansions.
I honestly forgot i made this thread at all, please stop with the necromancy.

I'm sorry, i just finished the DLC - thought i'd check if there were any threads about peoples feelings on it as a whole. I merely expressed an opinion on a dead thread that no one will read. If you would like me to stop posting in old threads and instead make a brand spanking new thread i can.

[small]Oh Noes! I POSTED AGAIN[/small]
You start a new thread and they'll get on your case for not using the search bar.

It's a no win situation really.

A bit like the ending of the Pitt.
