Here's something interesting.

Porygon2 appeared in the English dub as stockart in the Johto Pokérap. Porygon2's second appearance in the anime has been a cameo in the "World of Pokémon" opening of Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice (featured above), in which every Pokémon from the first five generations appeared. Due to the EP038 incident, Porygon2 has not appeared in an episode of the anime, and it is the only Generation II Pokémon not to appear, as well as the only non-legendary, pre-Generation V Pokémon, along with Porygon-Z, to not appear in the anime
