By the way, since nobody's answering in the advice forum, anybody know how to change trophy language on the PS3? Setting already says English but it was Spanish before that and the trophies in every game I booted BEFORE the language change keep getting written down in Spanish. Is it a hardcoded thing or how can I solve it?

Hmm, I've never looked at language settings for my PS3, but that does sound weird. It almost sounds like a glitch to me, do you manually change the language often or did it happen by itself? I'll be out for a while, but I'll check my PS3 when I get back to see what the language settings look like.

When I first set up the PS3 I chose Spanish as a default language (because that's my default language too). But after playing Dead island for a while I decided the punny Spanish names for the trophies I was earning were horrible, so I changed the language setting to English. While every other game I've ever played AFTER the change has earned me trophies in English, Dead Island keeps writing them down in Spanish. What's more, my girlfriend made her own user account in my PS3 and started playing Dead Island herself, and SHE earns her trophies in English. So what the hell, Sony?

That sounds really weird, I really don't have much of an explanation except that the PS3 must not have gotten the memo to change the language for Dead Island specifically. I checked my own PS3 language settings just for fun, and everything seemed standard.
