Really? Damn. I wish I'd known that. I thought they were set in stone.
In which case, I'm going to have to go with one of the gamecube games, where a commentator mentions that "it looks like they're dying out there" or something. I don't remember properly, I've never owned those ones. I think it was colossium?

Well I'm giving myself the "most obscure piece of ancient Pokemon minutiae" award, since nobody here knew that Omanyte had the prototype English name of Ess (Omastar was Cargo, get it?).

I'm not even making this up, folks. Other prototype English names included:
Arbo for Ekans (which apparently they saved for its evolution)
Att for Kabuto
Lantis for Kabutops (again, not even kidding)
Ptera for Aerodactyl (in this case, simply keeping its Japanese name).

Almost but you miss out Abra and Psyduck. I admit that I had to double check since it can be consfusing. It can be confusing that Ghastly, Ponyta, Mr. Mime, Chansey, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and Onix were in all of the past 4 gens but they didn't appear in R/S/E.

Ahm..Base stats are 60, 100, 110, 130, 95, and..I want to say 65 because iirc the stat total for Eeveelutions is 530..Espeon having 130 sp. attack and 110 speed, Umbreon having 130 sp. def and 110 def, Flareon having 130 attack and..110 defense? (Not sure on that one) Jolteon having 130 speed, 110 sp. attack, Vaporeon 130 HP and..110 sp. attach, Glaceon 130 Sp. attack and 110 Spec. defense and Leafeon having 130 def. and 110 attack..I think.
