That's probably the rarest game I own. I mean, I've got a ton of stuff that's out of print and probably collectible at this point (assuming it's mint and still sealed in the original packaging, which mine wouldn't be)... but I think C&C: Sole Survivor is probably the single rarest game that I have since it wasn't particularly easy to come across even when it was brand new.

I guess I'll do this by system in descending order of rarity. Turns out I've got quite a few, though none of them are exceptionally valuable. I'm limiting things to the top 50 rarest per system according to the OP's link.

Mega Drive: Streets of Rage and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

Sega CD: Earthworm Jim: Special Edition, Amazing Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin and Sonic CD

Dreamcast: Shenmue and Sonic Adventure

NES: Tetris

SNES: Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger

N64: Conker's Bad Fur Day, Star Fox 64 with Rumble Pack and LoZ: Ocarina of Time

Gamecube: Beyond Good & Evil, Skies of Arcadia Legends, LoZ: Wind Waker, LoZ: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Sunshine and Tales of Symphonia

GBA: Sonic Battle and Metroid: Zero Mission

PS1: Final Fantasy VII

PS2: Final Fantasy X, God of War, Kingdom Hearts, Shadow Hearts and Silent Hill 2

Xbox: no listing available

I don't know which one out of all these games is actually the rarest, but Conker seems to be the most valuable. Then there's also my PSP, DS, PS3 and 360, but nothing I have for them could be considered in any way rare. I do question the sites prerequisites for rarity, since quite a few of the supposedly rare games I own are uncommon at most, or at the very least not hard to find to anyone keeping an eye out.

According to the site(Dont really consider 55% to 70% as rare but ive seen DDS being mentioned);

[small]Ps2
(55-70%)
Digital Devil Saga - 59%
DDS2 - 57%
Fatal Frame(Or Project Zero as its Referred to as here) - 65%
Devil May Cry - 69%
DMC 3 Special Edition - 60%
(80% and up)
Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil - 80%
Silent Hill 2/3 - 83%
SH: The Room - 80%
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance - 80%
Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 - 80% ( Though this isnt really a game per say)
Final Fantasy X - 85%

PS1:
Silent Hill 1 (2 copies)(Black case and silver case) - 84%
Final Fantasy VII - 89%

Though went by Percent not price. List is getting a bit long so ill leave it at that[/small]

I thought I bought the copyright infringing Duke Nukem 3D level pack just because I remember reading about it in a magazine and buying something just because it was going to be taken off shelves, but my mental picture lines up with the Atomic Edition rather than the lame cover of Nuke It! (Fun fact: that compilation was double infringement in that not only was it not a licensed Duke Nukem 3D product, but it stole all the content from fan websites.)

I have a couple of the more "traditional" expensive collectibles that I'm not sure really count as "rare" because they have a high circulation. The only ones I'm really that proud of are Radiant Silvergun, Panzer Dragoon Saga, the PAL Terranigma (modded my SNES exclusively for it), and about half of the Working Designs canon (missing all TurboGrafx, Albert Odyssey, Sega Ages, and Elemental Gearbolt because light gun games bore me to tears).

As far as the borderline-cheating homebrew stuff goes, I have an RPG Maker prototype from a previous online community. It's a "parody" where the extent of the "humor" is making Bill Cosby the villain, introducing him with a musical sequence where one guy is not synchronized, and Bill executes him ("The Coz don't like people with no groove").

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for the PS2. At least I hope it was rare, because it was expensive as hell
I think the Xbox version is the least common one...luckily though yours is less common than mine since I have the Dreamcast version.

---

Judging by the prices on amazon for a new (and even used) copy, I was apparently a fool to have parted ways with my copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 on the PS3/360 (I owned the PS3 one but the price for both consoles is virtually the same).

The rarest game I've ever owned is likely one of the games I own now is something like...Rayman 2 on the N64 complete, F-Zero on the SNES with the factory seal, a misprinted copy of Resident Evil Revelations (factory sealed), Gargoyle's Quest 2 on the NES with a dust cover, Paper Mario on the N64...any of those would qualify as rare honestly. As for a more recent rarity I also have the Super Mario Wii collection thing which judging by its price on amazon isn't really all that collectible yet. I have a handful of import games too which would be rare by virtue of how few Americans would also own them...like Project Diva on the PSP or JUMP Ultimate Stars on the DS...and a Fist of the North Star game thing also on the DS.

Just by going through the Dreamcast list: Power Stone 1 & 2, Crazy Taxi 2, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Sonic Shuffle, Vanishing Point, and Worms Armagedon.

I bought these games and the game system for 20 bucks at a yard sale like eight years ago.

Chrono Trigger for the DS.

I cant vouch for how rare the game actually is, however, it took me a very long time to find a copy of it.

I would have to be um... legend of the ancient dragon I guess.

As far as I can tell no one I have ever talked to has ever heard of it before.
