That was by way of being sarcasm on my part.CounterAttack said:It seems you don't know my character all that well either. In Daman's mind, he was offered a contract - though not in a literal sense, of course - and he accepted. With the destruction of Chicane, and presumably the suit of Diamonds, who approached him, the contract is terminated. Daman now has no further reason to be on this plane.
It looks like option C is pretty much unanimously preferred. I'll still wait for the other responses, as many as a day can generate, but I'll start drafting for a Ratings War VII.
Two Questions
1) Are you guys fine with me using the Dimensional Deathmatch setting, or would you prefer something a bit weightier? I personally think there's been too much depth in a few of the last Ratings War plots, and would like to take things back to the simple 'It's a Tournament' style of the very first Ratings War. Albeit this time with a far more Sci-Fi backdrop.
2) Thoughts on a Double Elimination Bracket format? That means, basically, that as people lose they will form a second, sudden death bracket. The winner of this 'undead' contest will face the 'undefeated' champion. This means that each player will, by default, get two games *guaranteed* and still has a shot at victory if defeated. In effect, every player has two lives. You can google the format for a much better description than this one.
