I don't understand how people can accumulate so many posts. I have 1,738 posts over 5 1/2 years as of this one. That's 316 per year (cleanly), or almost 1 post a day for 5 1/2 years. I think that's frequent enough.

Forum games, I think. I just got into conversations a lot about stuff, back when that was still frequently possible on these forums. But that still didn't nearly net me the post count some people get. Like, 50k+ holy shit. That sounds like all you do with your time is spend it on here.

It was a much smaller community back then, so it was a lot harder to get to 5k without either spamming replies or keeping up the quality levels.

Plus back in the days when the site launched the forum, I don't believe they had a FG forum or user-groups, just the gaming, OT, Review and news forums so there wasn't as much going on and nothing that was really 'spammable'.
