"You're short, and you manipulate people."

Yeah, she was short, she got that a lot.

A manipulator? Now that had stung on many different levels. She wasn't raised and trained in the Brotherhood's armoured bunker of safety and loose morals. When you're a female in your early 20's with nothing but leather armour, backpack and rifle strapped to your body, you realize that you have limitations.

If using the lesson's you learned makes you a "manipulator" in the eyes of Frank, then so be it. Lucy made no apologies for how she chose to fix herself over the past few years. Did she go out her way to hurt others? No. Did she flirt for her amusement? Sure, but she know's there's always boundaries. Does she use her way with words in order to get a reaction from others? Depends if she's bored.

Frank had effectively soured her mood, but on a brighter scale, sobered her up somewhat. She was still going to heroically nurse her large glass of water.

"Bloody hell, what'd you do? I thought Grumbleguts was all for you." He shrugged. "Welcome to the club. No jackets though, cos the list of people Frank hates is probably too long to make it affordable."

She could crack a smile at this and raised her glass to Marlon.

"I have an idea why he's acting this way." she thought back to what he said earlier regarding his armour, a pang of guilt hit her as she felt she could've been a bit more accommodating to Frank, instead of running off for her own interests.

"Or maybe the jackass needs to sleep it off." her thoughts had rushed back to his recent insult, she understood that he was more blunt than a blamco mac & cheese signed sledgehammer, but that was unnecessary.

Turns out some time had passed, she finished about 3 glasses of water, rushed to the bathroom for her tiny bladder and ordered some blamco mac & cheese on a plate. She was feeling a hell of a lot better, physically that is.

Emotionally, well how do most people feel after blowing up a behemoth from a vertibird, put in a coffin, danced with an undertaker, unintentionally hurt said undertaker and insulted by the only person she was starting to deeply trust?

"If you wanna tag along you might even get to hear a story or two from out west without the walking killjoy interjecting with fresh insults every couple of seconds."

"You know, I'd really like that, but it's blamco-time..." she said this with a deliriously chirpy smile, she was sincere. She always enjoyed a conversation and Marlon was pretty nice in keeping her company, talking about idle topics, making her feel comfortable, normal for once. It was nice, but she was serious about the mac & cheese, she had one nearly everyday as a kid. Apparently she got really passive-aggressive when she didn't get some blamco into her system. "...maybe another time, okay? Thanks for staying with me, I know I wasn't the best of company but I really appreciate it." she added in a sincere smile for extra effect.

She was a little worried about Shifty, although she decided it best not to disturb him. She couldn't stand to see Vikki at this point, she kept thinking about how if she had never gone with Frank in the first place, she wouldn't be here in this state. They were going to Underworld, that was the original plan...she stopped her negativity there. She was happy that she met Frank, she still trusted him and she wasn't going to run his name through the mud just because things could have possibly been different.

At this point, her mouth was stuffed with cheese when she noticed and exclaimed in cheery surprise as she saw Barry wheeling towards her "Mmmmrash!" she choked down the last bite and cleared her throat, "Sorry...Flash! I'm really glad you made it back safe and sound, I must've missed you coming into the med-wing. I was there not too long ago. Anyway, you look great...last time I saw you, I had given you all my stimpacks, the last one was over your broken body. I thought you were-"

"Miss Black? Elder Lyons has requested to speak to you. Urgently. It's a private matter that I cannot publicly disclose."

A Brotherhood soldier, clearly not here to join in on the celebrations had come out of nowhere moments later. He sidestepped and motioned towards the door.

"Sure, no problem. Just need a moment." she cleaned her mouth, gulped down the last bit of water and said her goodbye's to Barry. "We'll talk soon okay, Flash...Barry? We really have to pick one, we'd make a good team, remember?"

And with that, she left with the Brotherhood escort. She couldn't help but feel nervous, was the Elder pissed about her outburst earlier, was this about her dad, did she accidentally bust their water-purifier at the bar and she had to go find a new one before they all ran out of water?

Danielle walked over to Megaton's gate where a man in power armor was waiting.
"Jake, somethings going down back at the Citadel, I'm going to go back. You're in charge here."
"Yes ma'm."
Danielle slapped Paladin Jake on the ass, and walked out the gate.
[Tactics 90/20][Success!]She decided she would take the path directly south, past the Nuka Cola factory, turn east to Arlington, then go north to the Citadel. This path involved the least underground travel, which was probably for the best as it enabled her to snipe, and she didn't have her squad.
Danielle set off, looping around Megaton's exterior, and heading off to the south.
Danielle walked for a bit, things were quiet.
[Perception]Three humanoid figures, far off in the distance.
Danielle dropped to one knee, flipped a switch on her rifle's handle, and turned on the scope/eyepiece link.
Talon Company. One with an R91 assault rifle, one with a combat shotgun, one with a Chinese assault rifle. The one with the Chinese assault rifle was in the center, he seemed to be in charge.
[Energy Weapons 100/60][Success!]Danielle lined up a clean headshot on the leader.
"Don't be silly Dan, why just kill him, when you can kill him and humiliate him?"
[Energy Weapons 100/80][Success!]Danielle lined up a shot on the leader's crotch, and opened fire.
A distinct yellow laser fired across a large stretch of wastes into the mercenary's crotch, turning him into a pile of ash.
[Entrench]Danielle ducked behind a piece of rubble while the Talons were caught off guard.
The mercenaries began firing in Danielle's general direction, the few shots that didn't miss entirely were blocked by the rubble.
[Energy Weapons 100/60][Success!]Danielle poked her gun out from the rubble as if she were going to blind fire, except she saw everything perfectly thanks to her scope/eyepiece. She lined up a shot on the head of the merc with the R91 rifle, and fired a somewhat orange laser. As the second merc turned to ash, she unleashed a flurry of the regular red lasers on the last merc, killing him, but without the disintegration this time.
"Amateurs."
[Perception]All clear.
Danielle switched off the scope, reloaded, got up, and resumed walking south.

Marlon had made the most of his agreeement with Lyons. Once the fighting had been done, he'd lost no time in getting his mitts on a map marked with the location of known enemy strongholds. All the scum you could shake a stick at. Raiders, Slavers...Outcasts.

Lucy was set on making the most of the opportunity to indulge in her Blamco and the undertaker seemed like he oughta be left alone for a while to cool his jets.

A good time to make some plans then, because best of all, Frank wasn't around to stickybeak. Once he had these drawn up, he'd run them by Lyons. Rose could find out what he had in mind when and if it was necessary. He didn't need the headache. He found a quiet spot on the battlements near some watchlights and sat down, pulling his notebook and the map from his pack.

It shouldn't be too hard he thought, looking over the map while the steady sound of Shifty's target practice echoed up from below. Raiders were easy. Play them off against each other while selling arms to both. Difference being that these weapons would be booby trapped. Offer each of the raider groups involved a bonus of some better stuff or cash if they dispose of another raider group that stole merchandise. Of course, said "thieves" would have bought their weapons and had the same story fed to the by the Van Graff. And once the fighting started, it wouldn't take long, not if he rigged up faulty power cell converters to short out after a certain amount of shots. At which point, with both raider groups in the same place, the brotherhood could swoop in and mop all the suckers up.

Slavers would be even easier. Even accounting for freeing the slaves...and future potential employees, out of harms way. Buy up as many slaves as possible by trading them (again, sabotaged) energy weapons for slaves. And if they only wanted so much, that's fine, giving the slavers some cash for the release of the rest woul only be a temporary measure to begin with. Same plan. Slavers equipped with weapons that short out after a certain amount of shots would be a definate disadvantage with a followup raid and no slaves to use as human shields.

The outcasts though. They'd take some more thinking. More information was required. But that'd come. Besides. He hated them and he was more than ready to wait a little longe to help engineer their demise. A nice building they were holed up in too by the looks of it. Roomy. A guy could set up a decent factory in a joint like that. Maybe he could work something out with Lyons if things all went well...

The Van Graff grinned as he folded the map and tucked it inside his notebook. He'd chat to Lyons later, get her thoughts on the campaign of deceit and extermination he'd jotted out.

For now, he could relax a bit, so he lit another cigerette and smoked it whilst watching the undertaker blast some targets.

Danielle continued to walk south. She was directly east of the Fairfax ruins and Fort Independence.
[Perception]No Outcasts nearby, and the raiders in Fairfax didn't seem to want to mess with her.
Danielle didn't like being in Outcast territory. It brought back bad memories.
Those bad memories brought her mind onto the subject of family.
She wondered how Frank was holding up. She didn't have any casualty reports. On the other hand, she knew Frank wasn't the type to die in any ordinary fashion.
[Perception]The old Nuka Cola plant was in view. Sounds of battle could be heard coming from behind it.
"Well shit."

They we're going down alright, but it wasn't all that easy. The guy upstairs punched a hole and Wayne and co each took shots trying to blast through that hole. It took a lot of ammo and time for each one, they were fast and unpredictable. At this point a number of them were at the barred windows downstairs or bashing the door down.

Gunfire sounded behind him, he turned to check. It was the guys guarding the barricade, trying to suppress the crabs and Nukalurks coming up the stairs. Then a huge rumble, bigger than before, enough to send almost every person and creature tumbling to the ground. Dust fell from the cracks in the ceiling, rubble moved, the barricade came apart slightly. The fat vault dweller quick to get up with the others and reassemble it.

'Get to the roof!' Shouted Wayne. It would have to be their final defense, hopefully Stan had managed to call for help by now. The group ran up to the roof, the clicking of claws ant stomping of feet behind them

They closed the door and barred it shut, everybody aiming at the door now, waiting in the brief silence. Wayne reloaded, almost out of ammo. 'When they get to that door give 'em hell!' He said, slowly starting to sound like the great leader his Dad was. 'Come on you fuckers' he said under his breath, waiting for the next wave...

Stan had sprinted up the stairs, back to Estabahn.
"Oi, fancy. We're not going to make it by ourselves. Have you got any pals you can call for help? We're in a bad way." he said breathlessly, barely keeping his feet as the building shook, harder than before. "As in, people are going to start dying in the next few minutes if we don't get help." he added helpfully. He grinned, and gave a two-thumbs-up to the white-faced businessman. "Well, good luck! I'm heading back down. See if I can't shoot a few of the cunts myself."

He turned, and saw, off to the north... Something. He tried to look closer. No dice. He decided it was a trick of the light, and started back down the stairs.

"I am in no position to be any threat to you, Captain." Said William, he nodded to himself to indicate there was not much he could do at this point. The Captain appeared to be ready to kill him, so pointing out that he was no danger to her seemed like the right idea. William considered saying something scary but there was no point making threats if it is obvious you can't back them up.

"Killing me will gain you nothing, if you shoot me you have wasted an energy cell and have my body on your hands, if you do not kill me you still have that energy cell and I am not dead. I would consider that a win-win situation for the both of us. Besides, had I wanted to destroy you would I not have come armed with more than a sword and a gun?" William hoped he was selling the idea of letting him live with some success, otherwise death by plasma it was.

The scratches on Williams cheek were starting to itch though, and making any sudden movements to scratch them may be seen as trying to grab the gun.

===================================================

Meanwhile, Evan and Dudley were being led around by Fallout Jack, who had stopped to speak to another soldier and had been disclosing rather more information than he would have thought. The Enclave had recruits that were well trained and special sectors called the Omegas or Fallout Sector, so far Evan and Dudley knew that Jack, John and another named Bob were part of this division.

Evan spoke to Dudley while Fallout Jack was distracted with the newcomer, "There's a chance we can make it through this if they consider us 'good stock'. Otherwise, I don't know."

"Good stock? You think they're going to recruit us? I don't want to be recruited. Besides, William should have gotten what he needed by now and there hasn't been any alarms. I'm thinkin' we make our excuses and get out."

"What excuses? 'Thanks for showing us all your important stuff, we'll just be going now, thanks bye' I don't think that will work."

"Hey don't knock it 'till you give it a try." Said Dudley, striding towards Fallout Jack and saying, "Well friend, I've seen enough to know our bosses will be very interested in doing business with you, we'll just be going now, you'll hear from us again."

Evan felt he had to contribute, "Yeah we have to handpick the technicians to send you, help you with all the gear you find."

Maybe running as fast as they could was the better option......

Wayne had managed to calm his breathing and his heart rate,
he began thinking clearer, 'I wouldn't go down there if I
were you' he said to Stan as he neared the door, a fire in
his eyes that Wayne never new existed.

He turned to get a feel of his surroundings, the roof was
flat, apart from the door to the lower levels. There was the
sniper, he had stopped firing and was in the process of
reloading. Stood by him was a well dressed man, looking
particularly useless. That must have been 'fancy pants' Stan
had met earlier, the boss. 'Where's our goddam help?' He
called as he walked over to the edge. There were no more
lurks outside, they must have made their way in, probably
through the loading doors on the south side where they were
popping out of the ground. He began walking around the edge,
looking for a way down, hopefully they could get away before
the lurks broke the door down.

The knocking started on the door, there wasn't much time. No
way down. 'Does anybody have a rope?' He called, desperately
hoping for one to materialise before him, but the crew just
looking aside, probably feeling guilty for not being better
prepared for an attack. There was no safe way down then, he
decided, and joined the ranks of the other guards, guns aimed
intently at the door when another huge rumble came, sending
everybody over. They were up quick enough to catch sight of a
claw coming through the door, a few opened fire on the
opening, there was an unusual gurgling screech from the other
side. 'Hold your fire until you can get a better shot'
Shouted the sniper, trying to gain control of his men after
Wayne had been leading them so long.

The next claw came through, making the opening bug enough for
a few small crabs to get through. 'Here we go...'

Her Brotherhood escort had quickly become an armed escort since another soldier had taken her side just as they exited the bar.

This had grown unnerving for her.

Complete with a laser rifle and face-concealing helmet no less. She was guided through the Citadel, where she was however, she didn't know. The corridors all quickly blended together, with the notable exception of dimmer lighting and less people people as they proceeded.

From the shadows another armed soldier started walking in step behind them, taller than the other two, but no less frightening.

The soldier with the laser rifle had stopped by a doorway, while the other one turned to face her.

"Weapons."

She was scared enough as is, the familiar weight of her rifle was her only comfort at this point. With some deliberation, she reached up to grab her Gauss Rifle when she heard the hum of an energy weapon behind her. Clearly they weren't taking any chances, but she handed it over slowly. "What's this all abo-"

"Weapons."

The soldier insisted, only made more insidious by the helmet.

Dammit, she was hoping to keep the knife at least. Then again, what the hell was a knife going to do against armour anyway. She grudgingly handed over her combat knife. She was promptly frisked from behind anyway.

If she weren't scared, she would be a little more light-hearted about the matter, but the uncertainty could be heard in her voice.

"She's clean." replied the soldier behind her.

"Seriously, can someone please tell me what this all about?"

She was ignored until they had reached some sort of holding facility. Guards stood at each door, in the middle she could see the Elder, tapping her foot impatiently until they came into full view.

"You can find out from Elder Lyons herself." her escort had muttered and took his position by the doorway with her weapons in hand.

"This doesn't look good..." she softly muttered under her breath.

[Sneak 40/30][Success!]Danielle stuck to the north wall of the Nuka Cola plant, and moved east.
She switched on her scope, and poked it around the corner.
[Perception][Survival 25/35][Failure]...Blue mirelurks? Bigger than the normal kind. They were attempting to siege the plant, while being shot at by the people inside.
[Precision]Their faces looked to be armored, unlike other mirelurks, but their joints appeared to be vulnerable.
[Energy Weapons 100/50][Success!]A yellow laser fired into the knee-joint of one of the mirelurks, causing the meats inside to turn to ash, but leaving the shell intact, and letting out an awful smell.
"I always did like the taste of laser-seared mirelurk."
The smell of incinerated nukalurk wafted over to Danielle, and made it through her helmet's air-filtration systems. It smelled like boiling nuka-cola, it reminded her of old patrols, when she would practice shooting on bottles of Nuka Cola.
"Ugh! Can't stand that stuff!" (Nobody in the Rose family likes the taste of Nuka Cola.)
[Energy Weapons 100/60][Success!]An orange laser went into the knee-joint of another lurk, causing it to stumble and fall over. It was still twitching though. A series of red lasers went into the knees of another lurk.
She had their attention now, some of the mirelurks broke off, and were heading towards her.
Danielle briefly considered switching to her max-charge cells, but decided against it, as max charge shots with a high charge in the breeder would melt and distort the rifle's internal components.

Even Stan couldn't miss the bright flashes of lasers when he was looking in the right place. While everyone else was busy watching the door, he strolled over to the edge, and watched a figure in some sort of fancy armor easily dispatch several of the beasties.

"Oi," he said, turning around, "take a look, sniper boy. We appear to have some help. I have no idea what kind of laser rifle fires orange lasers, though. Brotherhood tech, maybe?"
Stan'd never actually seen the Brotherhood, before, just heard of them. He shrugged.
"Anyways. We need to get their attention, since they seem to be plenty capable. Any ideas?"

The man looked at him blankly.
"I thought not."

Just then, the first claw thrust its way through the door, and several people fired at it, before snipey-pants ordered them to hold fire. Stan looked back over the edge, hoping the mysterious figure was friendly and would hear the shots.

Stan finally drew his pistol again, then his shotgun, one in each hand. He wasn't accurate like that, but he suspected he wouldn't need to be. He was as ready as he was likely to get.

"Greater am I
By the earth's girth

Than Mighty Death!"
All creatures cry
That can summon breath-
And speak no lie.
he recited in his mind. One of the first poems his mother had read him, in his youth. Comforting.

This positively near lethal mix of meds and alcohol did little to lessen the pain the anger that burned inside him. He wanted to kill something. More specifically someone, but he didn't really care who. He rolled out of the bar and to the court yard. He wrapped his fingers around a laser pistol that was used for target practice. He felt the weight in his palm before bouncing it between his hands for a minute getting a good feel for it. It felt as if he hadn't held one for quite some time, but he also got the distinct impression he knew how to use one at some unknown point and time. He fire at the head of the dummy hitting wide right. He loosened up his arm and aimed carefully to the left. He fired. Headshot. Wash, rinse, and repeat. Once he felt confident he exited the citadel. He made it about five minutes before running into a raider pack. The leader looked at him and chuckled spinning a chain in his hand. He counted six others. The leader said smiling, "Seven men against half of one. Not exactly a fair fight is it boy?" His goon squad laughed obediently.
Eobard replied, "My name is Professor Zoom and your assessment is far more accurate than you know."
The raider rolled his eyes and responded, "Do you think that was supposed to intimidate me?"
"No, I just thought you may want to know the name of the man who was about to take your life."
The raider nodded and fingered his gun and made a hand signal to his men. They preceeded to back away. It seemed that Zoom and this raider chief were on the same page. A good old fashioned mexican stand off.
The raider shouted,"ONE!"
"TWO!" Eobard replied.
"Three" they sounded together. They drew their guns. Zoom was far faster. Sending off three shots before the chief could get his out of its holster. All three rounds slammed him in the chest. He fell to his back, but was saved by his metal armor. "Get him boys!" he shouted in obvious pain. He fired two more shots one hitting a member of the group in the throat where there was no armor. The second slamming into his shoulder. The raider colapsed unable to breath. The second and third raider began to fire their 10mm pistols as the remaining three sprinted at Zoom with their melee weapons. Eobard pulled the trigger, but all that happened was a click. He dropped the gun and rapidly wheeled himself towards the sprinting raiders. First one had his chance. He tried to slam his sledge into Zoom's skull. Zoom was far to quick. He ducked the swing and it bounced feebly off of his chair. He slammed the painspiked raider in the jaw with his Bro-Fist. The raider's head popped like a balloon. The second was up to bat. Which coincedently was his weapon of choice. Zoom slammed his fist into the incoming weapon. The bat exploded into the raider's face. Filling his face with several inch splinters of wood. The last carried a mere pool cue. A wise man would have backed away. This raider was not a wise man. His organs liquified on impact. He pulled this raider on top of him as he raced towards the gun wielding bandits. Their bullets slammed into the body of their dead friend. Merely splattering Eobard with blood. As he came within a few feet he slammed both fists into the dead body of the raider launching him into his surviving former brothers in arms. These nearly naked raiders were crushed on impact. Finally he came to the leader who laid on the ground suffering. Eobard took off his bro-fists and rubbed his hands together. "You and I are going to have one hell of a night."

'Go for the joints!' He shouted as he fired at a lurks elbow as it swung for the door, as its claw stuck the force combined with the damage caused its claw to come flying off its body.

The smaller crabs had gotten through, Wayne let the ones with less powerful weapons take them out, luckily there weren't many and they were all quickly dispatched, by the looks of it only a few people had been injured. Still, they needed everybody they had for the big bastards. Stan pulled up alongside, holding a gun in each hand, he looked like he meant business.

The lurks had made it through now, everybody was going wild with panic, missing shots or hitting the wrong places, those were the ones to go down first. Everybody began moving back, if it came to it jumping would be the only option, not pleasant but desperate times called for desperate measures.

His rifle was empty, no time to reload so he pulled out his revolver and dropped his rifle on the floor. Taking a deep breath he fired at the knees of the neatest lurks, crippling their ability to leap or even run. 'The face' he screamed to the sniper, knowing he could penetrate their armour.
Out of ammo again Wayne fumbles into his pocket to reload, aware that if he had used a semi automatic pistol like most, reloading would be much easier. And just as luck would have it, he wasn't fast enough, looking up he saw one of the Nukalurks leaping through the air straight for him. No room to move, no way but back off the edge, he gritted his teeth as the lurk flew through the air in what seemed like slow motion to him and prepared to meet his maker.

Five nukalurks had broken off from the main group and were coming for Danielle.
[Entrench][Superior Defender]Danielle was prepared for their assault.
[Laser Commander][Precision][Energy Weapons 100/100][Success!] An orange laser went into the knee of the lead nukalurk, causing it to stumble and fall over, causing a lurk behind it to trip over it. Countless lasers went into the knees of the standing lurks, and the shoulders of the fallen lurks.
The nukalurks who hadn't come for Danielle had gone into the factory. Danielle reloaded, and ran to the doorway of the plant.

Stan only managed a few hits, missing 3/5 shots. He really wasn't cut out for this kind of shooting. He stayed next to Wayne, and saw him throwing down weapons as they ran out of ammo.

Stan fired a one more shot with his revolver, then it was empty as well. He had yet to fire his sawn-off, however. He flicked his wrist, flipping it over his hand, and offered it to Wayne. Two shots. Wayne could make them count much better than Stan could. With his other hand, he slipped his revolver back into its holster. He had a knife. He could keep a single one busy at a time.

"Well, Wayne. It's been fun. Let's hope some damn backup gets here before we're all dead, eh?" he said as he drew the knife.

A 'lurk lunged at him, and he stepped out of the way, pivoted, and drove the knife into where it's armpit would be. With some difficulty, he tugged it free. None of the others would be that easy, but it was a start.

There it was, hope. Hope in the form of a sawn-off shotgun. He grabbed it and fired right in the chest of the Nukalurk, the impact propelling it back and into another two lurks, all tumbling to the ground.

This bought him the precious few seconds he needed to reload. He fired his revolver with as much precision as he could manage, taking a few down with shots to the mouth. He slowly became aware of a smell of burning meat, kind of like fresh Mirelurk cakes, but with a smell of Nuka Cola. He looked around,  only the girl from earlier was using an energy weapon, and it wasn't really setting these things alight. Was there a fire? Wayne's mind wandered, was help here? He looked to the door, noticing no more had cone through, maybe it was safe to retreat back down the stairs. 'Everybody downstairs' he called, picking up his rifle and using it as a crutch as he moved toward the door, firing at any approaching Nukalurks to clear sage passage for himself and those that chose to follow him.

Danielle entered the factory.
[Perception]Foyer was clear of nukalurks, although there were some tiny crabs skittering about. The nukalurks seemed to have moved on to the stairwell.
The tiny crabs scuttled around Danielle's feet.
"The only thing you'll get from me is your daily iron requirement."
Danielle began to stomp on them.
"And since you're growing crabs, you need plenty of iron!"
[Entrench]Danielle ran up to the entrance to the stairway, and took cover in the doorway.
[Perception]There were people at the top of the stairs, on the other side of the nukalurks. There were about ten nukalurks in the stairway.
[Inspiring Presence]"Relax kids, Dan's here! Everything's perfect forever!"
[Energy weapons 100/70][Success!]Danielle shot at the back of the knee of the lead nukalurk, vaporizing the meats, but leaving the shell intact, releasing that awful smell, and causing the shell to tumble down the stairs, knocking several lurks over.
"Strike!"

"Since this is likely our last recording, I beg your time for confessions. In the interest of bushes and the beating around of them, and avoiding such frivolities, I have imbibed my second dose of this survival tonic. I know, I know I swore against it, but CHRIST give a man a little levity in his hour of needles NO nefertiti N-n-n-NEED."

"The sensation is marvellous but no time no time they're coming and I don't want to keep these boys wanting for their shot they seem so eager strapping young lads they are, marvellous, marvellous. God I'm so itchy, so itchy, so ITCHY!"

Stan slipped inside behind Wayne, after reloading his pistol, and saw the armored fellow- or was it a woman? It was hard to tell in the big, silly-looking armor, but Stan had a distinct feeling it was a woman- shooting some nukalurks.

"Strike!" she yelled after hollowing out a 'lurk, who then fell down the stairs and knocked others over. She's also yelled something about things being perfect forever? Stan didn't know, but he had a creeping feeling that he and the gal in the tin can would be pals, very quickly.

Stan kept his revolver down. He'd be more likely to hit one of the humans than a lurk. It didn't matter, though. Between Wayne and the Silly-Armor Lady the 'lurks weren't likely to live too much longer.

"Hey! Silly-Armor Lady! Keep up the shooting, please. We can only kill so many nukalurks before we get bored of it, you know?" Stan called down to her, and finally attempted to aim his pistol at a 'lurk, who promptly moved a few inches to the left, making him miss the joint. The round ricocheted harmlessly off the beastie's chest. Stan frowned, and fired three more rounds in quick succession, eventually hitting on the third.
"There we go." he grinned widely. The 'lurk only stumbled a bit, but he had at least hit it.
