Erm...I have mine because I bought them and never got rid of them. They have games I like to play. Is this a trick question?

I have my little black Atari with Space Invaders, Ms Pac Man, Dig dug etc. I play Yoshi's Island the early Final Fantasy's and Secret of Mana on my SNES now and again. I still have my master system which has tons of games. I could keep going but this would be a very long post.

I still have all my consoles. I think only things I don't have is my old PC's for obvious reasons. God...I don't miss CRT monitors at all, it was like staring into a fish bowl.

I keep my PS2 for the Shadow of the Colossus, Devil May Cry series, and Legacy of Kain series.

I still own literally every game I ever bought for my Saturn and my Dreamcast, and yes, that's entirely because the platforms sank without trace, and it was blatantly obvious that they were never ever coming back. While I appreciate having the opertunity to play Ikaruga and Radient Silvergun on the Gamecube, since I never even got close to getting hold of copies on their original platform, this wasn't that big of a deal.

When the Saturn (and to a lesser extent sega itself) went down in flames, there genuinely were some of us who were upset. Those few of us who were into Panza Drgoon Saga and Shining Force III who thought that Sega were releasing some of the best games every made.

It continues to suck that Sega's back catalogue has been left blowing in the wind. I would have thought that seeing the domination of serious gaming that MS and sony were about to dump on them, Nintendo would have nabbed sega immediately and made sure that there catalogue lived on, even if just as digital downloads.

*sigh*.

Still, I guess we are lucky that emulators are fairly plentiful, and you can find some way to play practically every game you want to if you put the time in. Did you know that the fan translation of the unreleased-outside-japan 3 disks of shining force 3 has only JUST got to a reasonably complete state btw ? If you like the series go look them up. In my opinion the best RPGs ever made, and they just didn't bother to translate the last chapter. Grrr.

I still have my Commodore 64 because it is the gaming machine of my generation in my country. It is still the best way to play Pirates!.

I still have my N64 for the original (AND BEST) Super Smash Brothers. That game got me through my A-Levels and I remember the huge competitions we put on in school.

Since playing any of the newer versions, I find that they've tried to add too much in. The original was simpler, and there were so many tactics involved.

If I have a load of people round, we still play that game.

I still have my old Xbox because I still sometimes play Morrowind on it.

And i still have my PS2 because nobody will buy it. Probably because I'm asking $50 for it.

I still have my old systems because games are fun regardless of age.

Well, most games.

Well, I collect old games, so all my consoles from before the N64 (and few from afterwords) were bought used to play classic games. I guess I could list off my main squeezes from their respective consoles, NES.

NES games in general are way cooler on the original console.

SNES, Yoshi's Island has never received a perfect port.

Genesis, Gunstar Heroes baby.

N64, A lot of N64 games haven't got perfect ports either, plus multiplayer just isn't the same anywhere else.

Dreamcast, SoulCalibur, you know the first one. I love the adorable 8-bit fighters on the VMU.

PS2, I don't have a PS3 (And even if I did, it probably wouldn't be backwards compatible).

GCN, I keep it around to play GCN games at my mom's.

GB, Who doesn't want some monochrome graphics once in awhile?

GB Pocket, More handheld than the old Game Boy.

Game Gear, Handheld games should be played on a handheld.

GBA, Link with my GBA Sp.

GBA Sp, Well my DS is shot to hell so, this is better for my GBA games.

DS, Link with DSi/3DS.

My PS1 recently broke once and for all so I've finally got around to installing an emulator and have been replaying Fear Effect and Fear Effect 2. Using keyboard controls is a bit weird, but they're still two of my top 3 games.

My Super Nintendo is primarily for Super Mario RPG, but I occasionally enjoy another run through Super Mario World. My Nintendo 64 is for... well, everything. Mainly Perfect Dark, but I still play a ton of N64 games on a fairly regular basis.
