A must for anyone who likes good art and a fantastic story. Too bad it takes forever for new chapters to get out.


Bitter Virgin:
One of these really weird manga that start off 'typical slice-of-life romance' and go into something way more.


Hotel (One-Shot):
When the main character is an AI, and a Earth going to ruin...you know there's something special and weird going on.

i just read "Seven Ocean" and the ending made next to no sense but i almost cried anyway! an excellent manga if you dont have alot of time (just one volume)

A... strange manga I found was Yomeiro Choice, an (adult) comedy manga. It really pays no attention to plot, but don't make you think it's a just a stupid pornographic comic - it's imaginative, well drawn, lengthy, entralling, and fucking hilarious(if you'd mind the pun). It's an entertaining read, and while there's a large amount of nudity, there's no sex.

I come to you with two recomendations, just two.

One, Uzumaki. I will not tell you much about it, it will ruin the great suprises in it. But let me tell you it is... unsettling, a small town is haunted, of all things, by spirals. YOu may say that things... SPIRAL out of control

And the second one, Franken Fran. Another rather freaky one but I find it at time hilarious and quirky, while also being rather accurate in what it says. It is about a artificialy made girl with honking great bolts in her head, shes a surgeon!

My descriptions dont do these justice and they are both worth checking out.

In no specific order here are my all time faves

Hayate the combat butler: About a boy who is targeted by the yakuza, but is saved by a rich girl he was going to kidnapp. By a misunderstanding the girl taught he was in love with her and hired him as her butler.

Bakuman: About two aspiring mangakas who want to be the most famous mangakas is Japan.

Death Note: A psycological battle between a killer called kira and a genious detective called L. The mangakas for Death Note also wrote Bakuman

The world God only knows: The story is about a boy called Keima Katsuragi a.k.a. the God of capturing 2d girls in games. He later meets a demon who tells him he has to make real girls fall in love with him or else he will lose his head.
