You think killing a person with the press of a button is far-fetched. Ever heard of a ICBM? Or an Automated turret pointing at a restrained, confused, doomed family member? Considering that it is a gamble that you would cause a actually beloved family member (which seems a far-fetched pipe dream to most Escapists) is not a gamble worth taking. I would take the key. Though if they die, legally it isn't your fault, it is the man with the briefcase. The worst you could be charged with is conspiracy/manslaughter (with is accidental murder, I believe)riskroWe said:I'd be skeptical of the whole thing. If it's possible to just kill one person at the touch of a button, obviously reality is not what it initially seemed, and maybe stupid things like karma and heaven actually do exist...
On the other hand, people die all the time. The death of your parents is already pretty much guaranteed in life, but so rarely do we acquire wealth without wasting heaps of time and effort. The only thing better than being wealthy is being wealthy while you're still young. I think I'd push it.
Dammit! Ninja'd. Great little film. Didn't see the end coming at all.Taerdin said:
I have few morals, betrayal isn't one of them so long as nobody finds out.Arcticflame said:Honestly, I wouldn't.
I value my morals more than tons of cash, a new car and a new house.
This isn't to say I dont want those things, just that I am a very happy person now, I don't need those things to be happy, so I would just end up having a bad conscience.
It would reduce my quality of life to hit the button, therefore I wouldn't.
