From the film?

I don't see any reason why not. Are we speaking Wanderer class or Legionaire class here?
Yarr, the film [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domino_%28film%29] she was the only female bounty hunter I could think of >.> and a Wanderer class would be more fun.

My sheet's been up for a while, and apparently gone unnoticed. Just throwing that out there.

It seems that they'll wait for a sufficient amount of them before putting them onto the first post.

Name/Pseudonym: Uyran
Class: Wanderer
Gender: Female
Age: 23

Appearance: Uyran stands at 5'6" and with a slender build, she wears a pair of old desert camo combat trousers, a light sleevless vest, and a scarf obscuring the lower half of her face. She has a very tanned complexion, commonly thought to be from the sun she lives in. She has arachnodactyly [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnodactyly] meaning she has misproptioned fingers. Often seen with a set of knives slung around her waist.

Reason for being in the Republic: Uyran is a bounty hunter, pure and simple. Her last target brought her to the Republic less than legally, and she enjoyed the are enough to only take jobs in the area ever since. Uyran is commonly thought to have arrived from Portugal, but her accent wearing off has crippled all attempts at guessing where she came from by accent alone.
Hope that's all right :D

Indeed, that is how we roll.

Still waiting on a few more CS's though, we're hoping for nine players in all.

I meant that neither GM has specifically said that my character has been approved.

And, just to clarify, we still have open spots.

(Rather, old and tired open spots, that are just waiting for someone to fill them.)

Oh, and the guy I asked before got banned so... yeah.

Name: Sally Watson

Character Class: Republic Legionnaire

Gender: Female

Age: 28

Appearance: Sally is white and stands at 5'7" and wears The Legionnaire uniform when on duty and simple jeans and a tank top when off duty. She has shoulder length brown hair tied back in a ponytail and light green eyes.

Reason for joining The Republic: Sally was born in America. Her parents moved to Australia just before the war ended for fear of their child growing up in a war happy country. After the war her and her parents lived as scavengers, just trying to get by. One day when Sally turned thirteen there small camp was attacked by a small group of bandits, her father tried to fight back but the bandits were to many and they killed her parents. As the bandits where preparing to take her, a scout group of Republic Legionnaires arrived and killed the bandits. Their commanding officer, a woman named Lin, approached her and offered her a home. Sally accepted and since she became of age had been with the Legionnaires.
Well hope this works.

Pew, pew, I didn't expect that so many people would be legionnaires.
I can't wait for this to start.

Is half arsed. I'm sorry. I'm drained, but I want this to start now. You'll have to do with this. I'll make it up to you

The Republic; Chapter One.

Adept cleaned the screen from the light rain that was falling in the dark night. He shivered under his thick coat. Even though this was Australia, it was very chilly. He tapped the screen once, and the file on Gabriel Sylar opened. With a neutral face he nodded to his Legionaire commander, who ordered the small group around them inside. After a few minutes of rough sounds, someone was dragged outside. Someone guilty of a triple murder.

He was dragged off, just like dozens before him this evening. They were mostly new people, wanderers from the outside. All small time criminals, some outright murderers. He frowned. He wasn´t all that fond of wanderers, certainly those who looked like they had something to hide.

"Adept?" One of his legionaires spoke.

"Hm?" He answered, looking up from the screen.

"There are some strangers....well, not really causing trouble, but being a nuisance."

"Ask them to leave." He said. "If not, force them to leave."

He pocketed the PDA as the legionaire ran off to do his bidding. He cleaned his glasses and sighed. He was sick of this night.

You people now have an opportunity to introduce your characters. Any way you'd like. Also, I'd appreciate it if you could send in some notes on what your chapter would be about. Doesn't need to be long, just a paragraph is fine.

Hood sat on a wall, above the Adept. He observed the legionaires as they dragged a criminal foward, some running off in different directions. He saw civilians watching from a distance, not at himself, but at the Adept. Most people did, whenever he was nearby. It wasn't like he ever did much to hide himself from view.

Infact, he was so open that Hood could easily take him out without any hassle. It wasn't like there were many guards nearby either.

"Just one shot, and, bang. Dead.", he murmered to himself, "No more Adept. No more Republic. No more legionaires. No more order. No more anything."

Not that he would. Killing innocents wasn't his game. All he really did was observe, contrary to the reputation he'd gained within the Republic. For instance, he'd learnt of several so called wanderers, much like himself, within the city grounds. Wanderers, without permits. Or in the Republic's standards, criminals. And then there were the civilians in the city, people allowed into the city legally. Most were boring, but some led interesting lives. Some, even illegal. But again, only by the Republic's standards.

However, the only people Hood was interested in were the legionaires. Everyone else, even the Adept, were simply white noise to him. But for now he'd simply wait. Wait, and take in the sights. After all, he liked the rain.

The objective right now is simply to introduce your character. Everyone is equal right now. In chapter 2, we will pick someone to lead the story. At random! Exciting, eh?

'Please, it was only once!'

The wanderer begged on his knees before Jacob. His imposing figure loomed over the wanderer, casting a shadow over him, blocking out the sun from his eyes.

"Well, once is one time too many. Get out."

Jacobs face remained cold and emotionless as he spoke. Being a Legionnaire with a criminal past is tough enough. Every day he has to put up with the other Legionnaires treating him like shit. He always gets the bad assignments. That is why Jacob must show them all up.

'Please sir, it will never happen again!'

The wanderer continued to grovel and beg at his feet. Jacob couldn't tolerate people who would not do as they are told. Even when he was a bandit it drove him crazy. If someone with authority over you is telling you to do something, you had better damn well do it.

"You are trying my patience. If you do not get out of this city now, I'm removing you physically."

'But I have no where else to go! If you let me stay and I-'

The wanderers plea is cut short by a swift crack of Jacob's retractable baton. He swung it into the man's stomach, knocking all of the wind out of him and sending him withering to the ground in pain. Jacob turned to a Legionnaire behind him.

"Get this asshole out of my sight. Throw him out of the city."

Is it OK if I'm the Legionaire Jacob talked to? If not, I'll edit it.
"Okay... sir." Alex picked the Wanderer up on his shoulder and led him out of the complex. They made it to the door, and Alex, with a grimace, pushed him out the door.

He walked away wishing he didn't have to do what he just did. "You know," he muttered to himself quietly, "rioters I'm fine with beating up, but that guy didn't seem too bad. In fact, I wish there was a good riot going on right now to get the blood pumping. And now I'm rambling off..." He looked around, making sure that no one heard him, then walked on, not sure where he was going but walking anyways.
