Adept scrached the back of his head. He felt watched...exposed. He looked around, and noted the towering individual handling a smaller man. He slowly made his way to the pair, when another legionaire took him away. He reached for the tall man's shoulder, but tapped his arm when he couldn't reach it.

"S'cuse me, but apprehension is enough. Just send the next to the designated area." He told the legionaire.

He noted a few civilians a few meters away, and tried to look as pleasant as possible. This wasn't supposed to be to scare the populace.

"Well, who are you to tell-"

Jacob turned around to the man who tapped on his arm, noticing that it was the Adept himself.

"Oh, sir! I understand, but, uh, this guy was caught attempting to rob that bordega over on that corner."

Jacob points to a small open air store on the corner of the street.

"Bastard almost got away with thousands of dollars. And don't get me started on what he did to the clerk."

"Pfft, brutes the lot of them," Uyran scoffs watching the Legionares take the civilian away.

"Shame, they usually only beat up the people who don't defend themselves," she grins under the scarf.

If they tried that to me, I'd go down fighting, she thinks, blending back into the crowd around the Adept, shame he isn't a target, it would be fun trying to take him down...
Bleh not much, but my brain is starting to revolt against me again >.>

Hood slowly lowered himself from the wall, landing softly at the bottom. Everyone had moved foward, obscuring his view. He didn't even get a good look at the man they'd subdued. He'd spotted a few more people, two fresh faces. One was a legionaire, there was no mistaking that. But another was curious looking, to say the least. Female, possibly armed. Definately not Republic material either.

I have to get a closer look at her., he thought, Gotta' get in close.

He moved foward, close enough that a nearby legionaire could have grasped him, if he'd noticed him that was. The female seemed to be moving away, but he couldn't see where. He wasn't even sure it was the same target.

Man, this place is getting crowded.

Er... How do I fit Logan here? Is he one of the prisoners?
We're trying to promote freedom within this RP, which I tell you, is harder than it sounds.

Fit in your character however you see fit. For instance, TTT's character is litterally just watching right now, as is mine. The legionaires are beating the crap out of everything. And, the Adept is doing a little meet and greet.

If you need directive, just PM me. Otherwise, you're free to post as you like.

"Be that as it may, all are to be taken into custody. Alright?" The adept said. He then noted a strange looking individual in a mass to the left. Covered face, careful movements. Almost stalking.

"Hey, could you do me a favour and ask that man," He pointed "for identification?"

Sally felt a wind at her back and turned to see no one there. "Uh I need to take break." She said rubbing her eyes, twelve hours took a lot out of a person. While she did enjoy working for the Adept, a person could only go for so long. "Oh well as soon as we're done here I'll knock off for the night." she said with a shrug of her shoulders.

Okay not much but I'm here. I'll be able to post more once I get home from school.

A noise outside caused Natasha to look up from her reading. She moved across to the balcony of her apartment and looked down. Everything was easy to see for her, as she lived on the second floor of her building.

A few people were standing around, accompanied by Legionnaires. Natasha hurried (or, as much as you can hurry along in a long skirt) down to the ground level and out the door, intrigued by the events occurring in the street.

Jacob looked in the direction the Adept pointed in. Almost immediately, Jacob saw a man with a hood concealing his face. Assuming that is who the Adept wanted, Jacob walked toward the masked man and reached out for his shoulder, grabbing it and stopping the man.

"Identification, please."

Hood was so close. If he could have just stretched his arm out, he could of reached the woman. But then, a lone hand placed itself upon his shoulder. He glanced backward to see one of the legionaires staring at his mask. He instantly freed the mans grip on on shoulder, sprinting foward in a line.

Crap, that was careless. Now I'll have to see how fast these suckers can run.

He vaulted over a low wall, trying to bypass some of the crowd. But there were too many people in the way. To get out, he'd have to create some space.

"Move or I'll blow all your fucking heads off!", he bellowed, firing his pistol in the air.

Shouts and screams spread as the crowd slowly opened to let Hood through. He managed to make himself enough room to sprint foward, powering down the open space.

"My book, yes, my book."
Sander was excited about his new book, called And The Gods Bowed, a novel with the plot having a great deal of influence from the current state of the world. He was one of the few remaining authors in the Republic, and one of the only ones to have the ability to get their work published. The Republic didn't have - by far - all of the books that used to be, most of them lost and scattered all around the world, and Sander was keen on writing and eager to contribute to change the situation. He had been here only one and a half months, yet he was lucky to achieve such immediate success with his books and have a steady income.

He hated fame bestowed upon people by mass media. He was eager to motivate more people into writing, and drawing art. Anything creative, as that was something he thought the Republicans lacked. But those were, at the moment, plans merely for the future. All of his books were published under the name Fred Fricket, the alias he used for his books, which he cleverly thought of because of the rhyming with the nickname anyone who knew him used to call him - Swedd Snicket.
He did this to avoid being 'famous', as the idea didn't appeal to him. He knew some day he'd have to change that, but not today, he always thought.

Not that many people knew his real persona anyway. He was new in the city, still having a multitude of weapons at his small apartment. His goggles were ablated, he wore new clothes, but only for the first time since he'd joined the Republic. His circle of friends was new, and small.

Today had been a day like every other. Currently, it was a night, a chilly and dark one, as Sander was taking a walk. He needed some time to think about how to acquire a bigger living for himself, and to joggle his creative mind.
He patthed the two knives he wore with him, one attached to a small pouch on the right side of his right foot, the other one on the left side of his left foot.
Doing it, he remembered that there weren't much choices for studying fighting. No courses were available, atleast not that Sander had found any. He would have to make due with what he had learned during his life, and his two trusty knives.

Tip-toeing on the street, he noticed heavy rain falling from the sky. Pulling on the hoodie of his parka, he heard faint noises. It seemed like a gathering. A crowd of people, all yelling at something. Footsteps everywhere. Walking down the street, he noticed an origami bird swimming through the lone strip of water that flowed down the edge of the road. The roads in the Republic were eroded and bumpy, but he was walking in the district with the biggest amount of preserved roads. As the origami flowed into the drain down to the sewage system, he turned the corner, to be greeted by exactly what he had heard - a crowd.

Looking from the distance, he noticed that on the other side, there was a man sitting on a wall. A lone wanderer, it seemed, a hoodie covering his face, mystifying his identity.
"Pfheh, typical 'mysterious badass' type, I see," he quietly said to himself, all the time snickering.
"This sight is pretty inspirational," he said, his mind full of tunnels of thoughts, passing through each and every one at an unbelievable speed.

He walked slowly toward the crowd, walking around it, leaving the hooded man be. A generally tall man, Sander could - though barely - see the top of the Adept's head, along with people hassling all around him.
"What is happening here?" he quietly asked, continuing his walk.

Suddenly, he felt something was wrong. He heard running. Faint, but it was there. The also faint and distant gasps of a few townspeople.
A gunshot rang through the air. Sander didn't even blink; he was accustomed to gun noises. Had been most of his life. A life he despised so much.
Why would someone shoot here? The Adept is near, and anyone who shoots near him is probably a wrong-doer, he thought. He noticed people backing into him, tripping over his long, strong legs. He wasn't hindered by it at all, it seemed.
Quickly pushing people aside, he reached a corridor of emptiness between the people. Looking left, he saw the same hooded man run towards him.
What should I do? What should I do? he thought, damning his indecisiveness.

So, I'm pretty sure what to do next, but I didn't want to tackle your character yet, if you do not wish. And why I'm reluctant to do it? Because it was meant as an 'introductory post', right? Don't want to get someone sent to jail and/or into trouble right away.
Well, I don't know how economy is in the Republic, but I still assume it has money and functions like a regular society, only that it's alot smaller, right?

And what can I say. Long introductory posts are my 'thing'.

And yes, I totally was thinking of Heavy Rain when I wrote that heavy rain and origami part. Just a harmless reference, eh?

Natasha panicked at the sound of the gunshot, although she didn't see who fired the weapon. She turned and attempted to run back into her building, but tripped over someone going in the opposite direction and crashed to the ground hard. She picked herself up and ran back inside.

The Adept was quickly covered by nearby legionaires, but he pushed them off him.

"Don't! That's Hood! After him!" He shouted over the ruckus of the crowd. He himself pounced after the figure turning a corner.

The man, who was now identified as the infamous Hood, slipped just out of Jacob's grasp. The man bolted into the crowds, and began firing a pistol in the air, as if to clear people away from him to get some space.

"Crazy bastard. Dead bastard."

Jacob took off on Hood's trail, noticing that the Adept himself was doing the same himself. This partially surprised Jacob, who had never pictured the Adept as much of an active man. Jacob was startlingly fast for his size, but his size put him at a disadvantage in this situation. Hood was able to maneuver much more easily in crowds, and was still even faster and more agile than Jacob. Still, he pushed on, in pursuit of Hood.

Alex heard a voice from far away.

"Don't! That's Hood! After him!"

Alex immediatley slid the AA-12 off of his back, taking a nonlethal stun round magazine and sliding it in. He ran towards the Adept's voice, pulling the bolt back as he did.

"Pathetic..." Uyran grunts at the gunshot, ducking slightly.

"Well, I get to disappear again," she smiles thinly under the scarf, jogging within the panicked crowd, "I'll pick up the trail later on again."
I dunno what to do, so Uyran is tracking a target in the crowd, in the meantime.

Hood bumped into another man, this time stumbling as he tried to regain his balance. The man seemed to have just stood directly in his path. The two men exchanged glances as they parted, Hood continuing his mad dash foward. Legionaires converged on his position, but a few quick ducks and dives easily allowed him to continue foward untouched.

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon...

As he turned a random corner, he was met with the city's man-made canal. He turned to see others filling the small area before him. He was trapped. On one side, there was a crowd full of angry legionaires. On the other, a canal. His options here were pretty clear.

"I only see this ending one way, folks."
