I knew someone would make an album dedicated to me eventually!...Or make a band dedicated to me anyway!

Please OP, enlighten me as to who or what The Resistance is.
EDIT: Google has provided the answer. As for contribution: I probably will not. I haven't seen enough of Muse's latest work to warrant me buying it.

I've bought it, heard it the other day on the Guardian website.
I haven't been a fan of Muse for as long as a lot of people, so I can see why the original fans may be disappointed with it, but I personally think it's really good. Not their best album, definitely not, but that doesn't mean it's terrible. A lot of people I know seem to think that a bands next album has to be better than the preceding one, and if it isn't they take it as some sort of personal insult.

I forgot I had on pre-order and so was surprised when it turned up on my door today. Haven't listened to it too much, weren't any stand out songs from first impressions.

It's not my favourite album, less fast songs which I like the most usually, but I still like it very much. As a matter of fact I'm playing United States of Eurasia as I type this, that song reminds me a bit of Queen actually, and the piano part at the end is beautiful.
