Simon knelt down began to shift items around in his pack. "Hello Iskra." he greeted the Pokémon while he looked for his Pokédex. "Just a minute..." In between a sock and a Potion he found the device upside down. Simon turned it so the viewer was aimed at Iskra. He waited for the Pokédex to register the unlock. It only took a second.

179 Mareep
Wool Pokémon

HT 2'00"
WT 17.2 lbs
Its fluffy coat swells to double when static electricity builds up. Touching it can be shocking.

'Wool Pokémon...' That made sense. "Spark." Simon muttered. He eyed the Pokémon's wool. An uncomfortable image of it covered in miniature lightning bolts formed. 'It certainly fits.' he thought, pocketing his Pokédex as he stood. "That's creative." Simon said. He offered a brief smile to Rochelle.

Recalling that Rochelle mentioned Tyler, Simon looked around for him. He found the trainer had reached the front counter. 'Geist evolved.' Which hopefully meant that Tyler's battle had gone well. It definitely meant that Simon had one more scan to do. 'Later.' he noted. The small Abra had certainly gotten a lot bigger. Which seemed to be a pattern. 'Glad they fit in their Pokéballs, otherwise we'd need a truck to transport them all.'

Mika nodded softly... He didn't even realize he had said what he did. He looked deep into Aeris' eyes and saw how close to tears she was. It hurt him to see her like that, so he snuggled closer to her, and kissed her softly on the lips.

"I'm sorry, Aeris... I shouldn't have said it so soon." He says with a blush to his cheeks, more than a little embarassed. "But, yeah... I don't expect you to be sure of your feelings so soon... I'm not sure of mine yet entirely... but it just seemed like the right thing to say. Honestly, I just want to keep going like this... This is nice, and... we'll cross the L-word's bridge when we get to it."

"Yeah, all right, let's go," Jordan said, following after Aeris. The remaining members of the party followed after them. Luckily for Jordan it was a quick walk to the Center. He hurried in, up the counter, getting his injured party onto the table. "Uh, yeah, my bros got kind of hit hard there by Misty," he admitted. "She, like, destroyed me."

"It's OK," the Nurse Joy on duty assured him. "We get that a lot. She can be a fiery gym leader at times. We'll have them back to you as soon as possible."

A slam came from a door near the counter. Terinth came charging out, bag slung on her back. "Hey Blondie," Jordan asked. "Where are you going?"

"Home," she replied tersely. "I can't stand you guys anymore, or this continent. I'm going to take the Magnet Train to Goldenrod then ferry out of Olivine. So whatever. I'd say it's been fun, but it hasn't." With that, she walked out of the door of the Pokemon Center.

"Jeez, she needs to like, mellow out," Jordan noted.

[HEADING=2]LATER THAT DAY.....[/HEADING]

The sun was just starting to set on Kanto as 7:00pm rolled around. The city was starting to quiet in preparation for the meagre amount of nightlife it had to offer to emerge.

Jordan was in the lobby of the Pokemon Center, not thrilled with the prospect that he would have to buy dinner for two tonight, what with his meagre amount of spare cash on him, but still it was better than the alternatives. Plus there was an added benefit. So rock Bro dude gets his stones off with Fary, Misty wants to have dinner with me. Is this the way things work in the Gym system round here? Does Janine have to play flirts with every dude who walks through? Didn't know that was part of the job description...

Fary sighed and looked at her feet in the Pokemon Center. "God why did I do that? Yea it was fuck but.. now Jordan is going out with that water *****. What else could go wrong today?" Fary sighed before her XTransever started ringing and that name on her phone made her cringe. "Great it's him." she said standing next to Jordan. "Hello Grimsley. Why are you calling me? You know I'm not in Unova." She said clearly not happy to talk to or see him.

"I'm calling you because my soul yearns for yours, obviously," Grimsley explained. "I thought you would have been thrilled to hear from me. It's been a while."

"No I'm not happy to hear from you. Hell I'm far from it. You dumped me so you could become a member of the Elite Four. I bet you're still using the Purrloin I bread for you." She said angrily.

"Of course. Every time I look at Liepard I am reminded of what you and your family have done for me. It is partly because of your superb breeding that I was able to ascend to heights such as these. Which is why I still feel compelled to have you entwined with me during my continued period of excellence." The smugness in Grimsley voice was evident even in the depths of the Seafoams. "I don't know why you felt the need to go running off."

"You seem to be still forgetting the fact you left me. YOU LEFT ME Grimsley. I left so I could train to become the first dark type gym leader with a gym in Black City. I can't do that with you always trying to sleep with me and insisting I stay in Black City." Fary said almost yelling.

"It was the perfect setup though. I realized that now." Well that and after that last whore from Mistralton gave me crabs. "I want you here Fary. I want you by my side again. Please just come back, and it will be just like it was before." Grimsley's poetic veneer was slipping and it sounded almost like pleading at this point.

"Grimsely you know I want to be a gym leader more than anything else. I need to to this for me, besides, you gamble money away like it's nothing. Look I still care about you but I need to be my own trainer. You know I have the knowlage to be a great gym leader, hell, I even want to join the Elite Four at some point but I can't do all of that being the girl of a great trainer." Fary said sitting down a tear running to her cheek. "I loved you and than you dumped me. You knew I loved you. I would have gone with you anywhere, I put my journey aside to be with you." she said her face in her hand.

"Fary, don't do this. I need you back here with me. I would end all the gambling for you, I would. I know I have made mistakes in the past. Just come back to me."

"You know what I'll do this. Find me in Kanto and come talk to me face to face. I'm really not sure if you care for me, if you ever cared for me or if you're using me for my breading skills. I just.. I don't know Grimmy. I...." she trail off her Zorua jumping on her shoulder pawing at her to make sure she's ok.

"I will. Second I get away from these dastardly other members, I will come. Hold on for me my Fary queen. I shall find you again. Even if I have to brave the wilds of Kanto to do it."

"I.. still love you Grimsley but.. there's another from Kanto I may come to care for and have started to have feelings for. I still won't leave my journey for you, I've come too far to do so now." Fary said petting Zorua.

"I will come to you," Grimsley stated adamantly. "If you are so hell bent on continuing this quest, I will come to you. Until then, await my arrival." The line on the other side went blank.

Fary put away her XTransever and hid her face in her hands sobbing softly. "What the hell am I going to do?" she said to Rouge.

"Come on Ari, you can do it! Even I'm beating you," Eileen said to her Pokemon, slowing down to a walk and turning around to see him. Her Exeggcute was hopping along slowly behind her, the run around Cerulean being hard for him. Training was something he had never done before, and from what his new trainer told him this was just the beginning.

"Ex-egg! Cute!" he responded as he slowed down ever further, coming to an all-out stop before just trying to roll his way to his trainer.

"No! Are you just going to give up? Look at Hughes over there. He's already at the entrance! He's been there for five minutes now, and if you can't tell due to the darkness he has a look of utmost disappointment on his face. He's thinking to himself, 'Gosh I can't believe my trainer actually caught that Pokemon. He's already given up after a quick run. Guess I'll have to continue being the only battling Pokemon'. Are you going to take that Ari? You certainly aren't! Why, because you're tough. It's one of the reasons I caught you. Now, are we going to finish this run or are we going to quit like a loser?" Eileen asked her Pokemon after running over and kneeling down next to him.

The speech did more then work. By the end of it Ari was mad and hopping faster than he ever did towards Hughes, ending his run by jumping onto the unsuspecting Pokemon. The fight that happened afterwards was quickly ended once their trainer finally caught up to the two, congratulating them both on a grand run.

"Now let's head on inside and rest for a bit. I know it's been a long day. I'll go and grab some dinner for the both of you," Eileen told them, leaning over to catch her breath before heading on inside the Poke Center with them.

After lunch at the Pokémon Center, a brief check-in with the other Trainers to see what was happening that day, and a trip to the Cerulean Poké Mart to stock up on Potions, Poké Balls and other medicines, Rochelle had spent the whole afternoon training north of Cerulean. It turned out that Jordan needed to stick around, as he had to have dinner with Misty as a result of a lost bet. Terinth had left, apparently heading home: Rochelle wasn't entirely sure what to make of that. Apparently it hadn't been fun travelling with the rest of the group. Still, it was Terinth's decision and Rochelle respected it.

There had been other trainers sitting around on the bridge between the city and Route 24: determined to make up for her loss that morning, she had given their Pokémon a sound thrashing. With each match they participated in, Iskra and Phoenix seemed to regain a scrap of confidence until they were back to their usual selves. The last Trainer on the bridge handed Rochelle what looked like a lump of gold after she beat him... that was bizarre. Why were people just handing these things out, she had wondered. They could be valuable, selling for a fair bit.

The oddity of the gold aside, and the lump stashed in her backpack for later, Rochelle had pressed on north of the bridge to train her Pokémon. Her Pokédex gave her constant updates on their general health, battle techniques and how tired they were as a result of battling. Each of the four had proven to be good in battle against some of the wild Pokémon hiding in the grass: each of Kirsten, Phoenix, Iskra and Natalya received over an hour of training focusing explicitly on them. They seemed to enjoy the one-on-one attention Rochelle gave them; she was trying to raise them evenly, though, and did her best to make sure she wasn't neglecting one in favour of another.

There were, of course, difficulties with training. Wild Abras that Rochelle occasionally encountered frustrated her; all they did was teleport away before she could give instructions to her Pokémon, wasting time that she could have spent on honing her Pokémon's talents. Kirsten and Iskra struggled to beat many of the Grass-type Pokémon in the area, as the wild Pokémon had natural resistances to electric shocks and blasts of water. Kirsten did enjoy picking off the smaller bugs like Caterpie and Weedle, though, and there was a good patch of grass right next to the water, so that was where she trained.

As the sun began to set, Rochelle headed back into the city to rejoin her friends. All of her Pokémon were out of their balls, walking or flying alongside her with the exception of Kirsten who was comfortably nestled in Rochelle's arms. She felt that they all deserved some time out in the open after putting in such good efforts earlier that day.

Rochelle's had her Pokégear's radio playing as she walked: her Pokémon seemed to take interest in the sounds coming from the built-in speaker. She enjoyed listening to the radio; there were two good stations that stood out from the mediocrity of the current generation of music. In particular, she liked the music by the band Full Restore: their latest song "Incinerate", featuring a trio of Fire-type Pokémon, had fallen short of the number-one spot on the charts, though, in favour of three of the many, many songs made up entirely of a turntable, drums and repeated lyrics that had no real meaning to them. The music industry was so strange.

One of Full Restore's other pieces, "Trick Of The Light Screen," began to play. A smile set itself on Rochelle's lips as the lead guitar's introduction, a simple tune that was supposed to resemble the melodic tones of the Psychic Pokémon Kirlia, reached her ears. She made her way towards the Pokémon Center, intending to grab some dinner and give her Pokémon a decent meal as well before returning them to their balls for the night.

Aeris had spent most of the day training her Pokemon and letting them obviously rest in between. They didn't need much more training at the moment, or at least not Blaze and Tristan. But it didn't hurt to train some more. She was giving Ekans and Xal some extra training. They were both doing fairly well against opposing Pokemon, wild or trained ones. Aeris occasionally walked back to the Pokecenter to let her Pokemon heal there if they got very injured. Thankfully that happened rarely.

Aeris was at the moment sitting against one of the trees just north of Cerulean City. All her Pokemon were lying in the grass to relax after a session of training. "Good work, everyone. I think a treat is well deserved for everyone." All five of her Pokemon were glad to hear that while staying on the grass.

Mika had decided to follow Aeris out after her last return to the Pokemon Center... so he and his own Pokemon were sitting nearby as Aeris and hers lounged after some hard Training. Mika had Artemis and Bones train on the abundant Grass-Types in the area... even Take getting in some training, as his Leech Life quickly sapped plenty of them into surrender.

"Good Training, guys... You're all looking much stronger. Especially you, Toxina... You've really been on your A-game lately. Maybe you're close to evolving.." He smiles and pats her on the ears, looking at all his other Pokemon as well. All were looking well, and Mika was more than sure that the next Gym they took on would be another win... upon that thought, he opened his backpack and looked up his "Trainer's Guide to Kanto" App on his phone... The next Gym would likely be... He turned the page and found it... There were a couple of Gyms close by. One in Celadon, one in Vermillion, and one in Saffron. He already knew that they weren't ready for the one in Saffron. Sabrina was quite the difficulty for lots of trainers. Erika wasn't easy either... and he didn't know if he was quite ready to go back to Celadon. Looked like it would be Lieutenant Surge.

"Looks like you're up for the next Gym, Claw... and Toxina, you too." He told his Pokemon. He then turned his attentions to his girlfriend and smiled. "You guys had going back to the Center?" He asked when she said a treat was in order.

Jordan couldn't help but overhear the conversation that Fary was having, and from the sounds of things, there was more than Rock Bro to be worried about when it came to people Fary had been with. Jeez, how many guys has she been with? Like dude, really hope this isn't some Natalie case where everyone finds out she sleeps with everyone at the same time. Totally awkward bro, totally.

Fary sat down on the bench next to him. Meanwhile people were getting back from their days training. New Girl was walking through the door and he though he could see Rochelle outside. "So...uh...Fary," he didn't really know how to respond after such a conversation. "How's things?"

Fary was still crying some and shook her head. "Not good. One of the reasons I left Black City is coming back to hunt me. My ex Grimsley just called me and is begging for me back. God he left me to join the damn Elite Four when I held off my Pokemon journey to be with him. What a fool I was and now it seems he's coming to find me. I don't even want to fucking see him. For all I know he used me for my breeding skills and then spent some nights gambling his money away." Fary sighed her eyes locked on her thighs.

"Then I fuck up with you just like he did with me and now I see you running off to have a date with a better women then me. God I'm so damn sorry Jordan I really am but my words I think mean very little at this point."

Zorua ran and jumped onto Fary's lap and pawed at her yipping some than nuzzled up to her.

"Harsh," Jordan answered as he sat there. Fary went all negative on the situation, which made Jordan think, for a change. Huh, maybe she was, like telling the truth. She totally thinks Misty is better than her, and she's all crying and stuff. I dunno. I dunno if I want to give her another chance, risk catching some of Rock Bro's shit.

"I dunno, Fary. Like whatever, I just dunno." He looked up at the clock in the Pokemon Center. "Anyway, I gotta go do this date thing now. Lates." He got up, sidestepping the battle that New Girl's Pokemon seemed to be having with each other, and left the Center intent on getting his date started. Maybe I can learn how to beat this chick while I'm at it.

Fary watched Jordan leave the center and sighed some. "All I know is I have some things I need to do before Grimsley shows up. Maybe he won't be able to find me and I'll be fine. However, I still need to fix things with Jordan and fix them soon. God Rogue there are times when I miss Unova." Fary said smiling softly.

Cerulean at night was a lot quieter than Jordan expected it to be. Sure, there were a couple of couples going around on the streets, there was a girl desperately trying to get a Slowbro to do something intelligent, but other than that, nothing. It was a little weird. Fuchsia was always busy at night, if only because of the crowds going for beach bonfires, or to keep his dad at the Safari Zone late by going on midnight hunts.

The lights led the way back to the gym. As he got to the main entrance, he remembered Misty wanted him to come in the back door. Heh, heh. Coming in the back door....wait why is that funny? It took him a couple minutes or so and he had to climb a hill but he found the one Misty meant. There was a doorbell and everything. He rang, and waited for an answer.

It came in about 10 seconds, but it wasn't the fiery redhead answering. This woman had blue hair and was much older than Jordan. "Uh..." he said, confused. "Is, like, Misty here?"

"Oh?" the woman asked. "You must be like, her new little crush, huh?" It was a true meeting of the minds. "Like, come on in tiger, she'll be ready eventually." She beckoned Jordan to follow and he did. The woman leaned into a nearby stairwell and called down. "Misty! Your boytoy is here! Hurry up and like, stop trying to fix what you totally can't fix!"

"Shut up, Violet!" came the reply. "And he is not my boytoy, damn it!"

Violet laughed. "She's so totally into you right now, you know that right?"

Jordan shook his head. "Uh, I guess? Like really that quick? I've been getting that a lot in the North. It's not like Fuchsia at all."

"Oh, you're like one of those Southern boys? Hot, I know a couple guys from down there. We had a cottage near one of the Seafoam Islands, it was totally awesome."

"Yeah, I've been there, it's pretty sweet."

"Yeah, totally, well anyway, enjoy what time you can with Misty until she finds someone else. She usually does. I still don't think she got over that kid from Pallet."

This was unwelcome news for Jordan. Great, another girl with old relationship issues. Why can't girls just let things go? I mean, it's not that hard, right? There was a clomping coming up the stairs that indicated that Misty was ready. As she emerged from the stairwell, it was apparent she was looking much better than she did when taking challenges. The blue jacket and yellow shirt combo worked better than expected, and her hair had been straightened out, though it still curled at the end. She kept the aqua theme going with a pair of blue shorts and finished with a pair of sneakers. It wasn't exactly going out clothes, but Jordan appreciated that she just seemed to be taking this casually.

"Geez Misty, don't you buy like, any new clothes?" Violet chirped. "Or are just spending all your gym earnings on double vodka and lemonades?"

"Violet, shut up!"

"I'll shut up when I see you wearing a different outfit. Or like any clothes that I would consider passable."

"Like I would take any fashion advice from you! You dress like a hippie!"

"Whatever, Misty. Just go out and enjoy yourself OK?"

This whole back and forth thing between siblings was lost on Jordan, being an only child and all. He just played with the tooth hanging around his neck until they were done.

"All right then. I'll probably be back later."

"Sure. I'll believe it when I hear it."

"Shut up, Violet! Let's go Jordan!"

Jordan took this cue to exit, as most people would. "OK, later Violet."

"Later, you two."

Misty practically dragged Jordan out the door. "I'm really sorry about my sister," she explained. "She likes to tease me and doesn't know when to stop. She's a bit stupid like that. I hope it wasn't too insufferable for you."

"Nah it was all right," Jordan assured her. "She seems nice."

"It's an act."

"Whatever, anyway, where did you want to get food at? Cause, like, I don't know any places here."

Misty thought for a second. "How about the Riverside Lounge? They got good food."

A Lounge? That sounds like, expensive. Still Beach Code is Beach Code. Gotta do it. "Yeah sure, let's go there."

"Great! It's not that far from here just a few blocks. It's got this real nice view of the river..." Misty explained more about the place the two were going to as they began Misty's prize from the day.

Alan had sent away his final draft of the article about Eileen's victory over Misty before shutting off the computer and standing up. He stood up and let his three pokemon out of their balls as he walked out of the center.

"Well time to see who wants to chat, seeing as there won't be much to write about Eileen's journey right now." He looked around and saw Eileen running up with Hughes and Ari going at it.

"Speak of the devil." He quipped as he saw the scene nearby.

"Training take longer than usual, and what has them going at it now?"

"Yeah, I was thinking of getting them healed and giving them something for their effort. Blaze and Tristan in particular after their victory in the gym." Aeris stood up and walked over to Mika, wrapping her arms around one of his and kissed his cheek. "Lets head back." She didn't feel like putting her Pokemon in their Pokeballs at the moment. A bit of walking would do them good, the ones that walked at least.

Mika agreed, and started walking back with Aeris, his own Pokemon skittering and padding besides him. Most of the wild ones seemed to give the group a large berth as they were traveling, not wanting to assault trainers with so many Pokemon out and ready to attack. He saw a few Grass-types skitter away cautiously, and smiled... as the two crossed the bridge, Mica reached out and grasped Aeris' hand, smiling over at her and continuing to walk.

"It's a nice night, isn't it? Perfect for a nice walk." He said with a cheerfulness in his voice. His thumb grazed gently over her knuckles and he smiled. "Aeris... why did you agree to go out with me?" He asked her quietly, wondering why she would bother with someone like him when she could easily get with one of the other guys in the party.

The question caught Aeris off guard. Why did he ask that all of a sudden? At the moment, she thought that if he were to ask it at all, it would have made more sense to ask when they started dating. But they hadn't been together for that long anyway.

"Why do you ask that? You make it sound almost like you think I'd be better off with someone else. Though I doubt you want to make it sound like that considering what you said earlier today." Her smile went away for the moment. It was just a shock to her to hear that question, and in that tone.

"I agreed because...I'm not sure. I honestly don't know. This is my first relationship. Maybe it's because you're so darn cute?" She giggled at that. "No but, I'm not entirely sure. Maybe I feel that we might 'click', so to say. Or rather, considering our first Pokemon, we 'ignited' something between us." It was a stupid phrasing and she knew it. She couldn't find anything better though. "I wasn't even really looking for a relationship when I started this journey, but here we are. If I were you, I'd consider yourself lucky to get someone like me. Not saying you wouldn't be able to get anyone else, but rather that there's no one like me." She giggled again, squeezing Mika's hand lightly and smiling towards him.

Mika blushed a little bit at being called cute, but he continued to listen to Aeris' explanation...

"I was just curious, I guess... and thank you." He stood on his tip-toes and gave her a small peck on the cheek, continuing to walk with her back towards the city Center. "I am pretty lucky, I guess... Now at least. I remember a time when I was a pretty unfortunate kid... that's behind me though..."

He grew somber for a moment, and then shook his head, as if trying to rid himself of a bad memory that wouldn't go away.

"So... where do you think we're headed after Cerulean?" Mika asked her opinion "Are we going to head into Saffron, you think? Or maybe take the underground to Vermillion?"

Fary's stomach was telling her to get her sorry ass to food and it had better do it soon before there's a revolt. "Let's get some food for all of us." Fary said letting all her Pokemon out. "It's been a hard day for all of us and tomorrow we're going to go back to the water *****'s gym." she said walking to the Pokemon center cafeteria.

"Hmmmm a burger.. oh wait this sounds better. Some bacon mac and cheese, now that sounds like something I need right now, comfort food." Fary said grabbing her plate and sat down but not eating until she feed all of her Pokemon. "If only I had you Rogue when I was with Grimsley, I would of had someone to talk to." she said petting her purple fur. "You're such a good girl." she added.

She sat down and sighed, memories of Grimsley flooding back as if flood gates had been open, specifically the night he left her.

[hr]

"Hey Grimmy why did you want to talk to me? Did something happen or have you gotten the news about joining the Elite Four?" Fary had a wide smile on her face putting her hand softly on his cheek.

"Yes, well I believe it's your classic good news bad news scenario with that," Grimsley responded, taking her hand in his. "It all depends on how you look at it, I suppose."

"What do you mean dear? How can bad new be part of it? Did they give you a yes but are telling you to wait? I don't understand." Fary said a confused look on her face. "I mean I'll support you no matter what, you know that." she added.

"Well the good news is....they have accepted me into the Elite Four!" Grimsley confirmed.

Fary wrapped her arms around him tightly forgetting about the fact there was bad news. "That's amazing. I'll be by the side of one of the greatest trainers in Unova. I'm so happy for you." she said planting a kiss on his lips.

Grimsley returned the kiss for a moment before letting Fary back down to the ground. "Yes, well you see Fary that's where the bad news comes in. You won't be by my side. I'm cashing in the chips, as it were, and terminating our relationship."

"What? Why won't I be with you? Why can't I be with you? Terminating our relationship? Why? You love me as I love you. God you have to be kidding me dear." Fary said not letting the news sink in as she tried to go for another kiss hoping it would give her the anwser she thought was coming.

"I'm afraid it's true," Grimsley stated, pulling away from Fary. "You see the necessary requirements of being a member of the Elite Four means there has to be isolation, introspect, the kind of daunting challenge that makes trainers quiver in fear. I can't have you there with me shattering that visage." Plus that Shauntal chicks got something about her...I'm going to find out what that something is.

"How long have you known this to be the case? Hell, why are you picking the Elite Four over me? We've talking about this before, you'd be a great trainer and I would be a gym leader." Fary was almost yelling at this point as she was failing to hold back tears. "For fuck sake I've never heard of that requirement before." she said shaking some now looking at the ground.

"They sort of sprung it on me when I was signing the contract, Fary queen," Grimsley informed her. "And you know I want more than just the rinky-dink gym life, keeping my prized Pokemon locked in at insulting levels just for little snot-nosed brats to walk in and trample over. I want the dizzying peaks, the zenith of the Pokemon world! And I thought you understood that. I guess this is just another sign that this is a move that has to be done."

"I do, that's why I wanted you to be a better trainer then I. I've given you the best Pokemon I can breed while giving myself the lesser. "Hell they don't have to know you're with me. You can come back to Black City to see me but I don't see why it has to be this way." Fary said tears running down her cheel even more.

"It's too much of a gamble. If caught, they could expel me and where would that leave me? No. It has to be this way Fary. I'm sorry, but do your best to try and live without me. I know it will be difficult."

"Please don't do this. You never minded taking worse gambles then this before. I.. thought you loved me, you'd always tell me you'd take me far from here so we could always be together. Doesn't that mean anything to you?" Fary said leaving a huge wet spot on his chest from her tears.

"Of course, Fary," Grimsley told her. "But it's what's necessary for my career, my mind is made up. I'm leaving tomorrow." He turned and started to walk away. "Give the news to your parents for me, will you?"

"Bullshit." Fary said throwing a Pokeball at his head" Take the damn Purrloin I breed for you and good fucking luck with your god damn life. Also as a note don't come looking for me in Black City for I'll be gone and I will not take you back so go fuck someone else for all I care." Fary said yelling loudly her fist shaking as she walked over to him and slapped him.

Grimsley spun and caught the Pokeball that had been tossed at him, but that was the distraction that got him slapped. "Well," he noted, rubbing his face. "I would have hoped you would have been more professional about this, Fary. It's a shame really. Anyway, now I can say goodbye without being sorry. Thank you for that, you horrid slut." With that, Grimsley headed upstairs, and slammed the door behind him, leaving Fary to her own devices.

"Fuck you Grimsley. I don't need you." She said lumped on the floor her shoulders shaking hard. "Why do I love you?" she said softly picking herself up and walked out his door for the last time taking only a moment to look back than walked back to her house as clouds started to form over what was a sunny day or that was how she had remembered it.

By the end of her thought tears were once again running down her cheek like they did that night.

"Why do I still love you?" she said slamming her fist to the table making her Pokemon look at her worried.

"We managed a few rematches with a couple of trainers on the bridge, but for the most part we just did a run around the city. Ari wasn't used to it, so our pace wasn't at the usual optimal level," Eileen replied after greeting Alan and telling him to wait while she grabs their food before continuing.

As she poured the two Pokemon's food into bowls she said, "As for that little fight, I think it was just the two letting their competitive spirit come out. I think that's the real reason. Both seem to be jealous of the other, but I'm sure they'll get over that with time. Or I hope so at least."

"How was your day after the battle? Sent in your story?" Eileen asked Alan, taking a seat next to her eating Pokemon just in case they started to fight again.
