I was pulling for the Saints over the Vikings, but really, I just want the Colts to lose. Quitters never win.

Actually, you could have. You could have cared so little that you didn't even bother typing a response.

God Damn It! I'm not for or against the Vikings but I HATE the Saints. In my first ever NFL game I took on the Saints as my beloved Broncos and got trounced. Since then I have had an extreme loathing for that team and root against them no matter who their opponent is.

Well, as a Vikings fan, tonight was hard to watch as we gave the game away. But, the Saints played hard and were the better team tonight.

I guess for me, I'm cheering them on for the Superbowl. I'd rather lose to the Superbowl champs then the runner ups.

My take. good for them, maybe they'll win the first one for them ever

BUT I'm calling it right here and now, that Brett Favre will come back next year, he will not let it stand that his last pass was an interception.
uhh.
he is still on contract, so of COURSE he will come back >.>

Great, now I get to have all of my sisters friends getting drunk and being loud in my living room while they watch the game again. Thanks for reminding me!

On topic: Couldn't care less unless it was the Cardinals going on to the Superbowl. I hate the Cardinals.
Well, the Saints did knock the Cardinals out of the playoffs. A little gratitude, maybe?

The Saints have been NFC Champs for about three hours and I've already heard enough Katrina references to make me want to puke..

I'm tired of hearing about it, it happened 4 years ago! I know its sad that people lost their lives and property, but thing about this... (using Haiti as an example)

Haiti: Poor, remotely located nation is hit by an unforesable disaster that took them unaware.

New Orleans: Middle class, well located city is hit by a storm that they knew about a week in advance while living in an area they knew was basically like a bowl below sea level, and countless reports and books said the levies wouldn't hold and predicted EXACTLY what would happen.

Basically, while I did have sympathy to see the results of the disaster, most loss of life could have been avoided, and if the LA state government and New Orleans city government had done something about the levies in the 100 YEARS SINCE THE LAST HURRICANE, instead of depending on the Federal Government (which it's not their responsibility in the first place to fix)

Going to the Super Bowl has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH KATRINA! It's a great sports accomplishment by talented players, but thats it!

What really matters is whether the Jets and Giants are going to the Super Bowl. All other teams are inconsequential.
I don't particularly care aboot Football, I just care that those wacky Europeans understand that Football and Communist Kickball are two very separate things no matter how much the insist Communist Kickball is called Football.

For those of you all posting about how much you don't care: Why did you click this thread?

Caldwell (coach of the Colts) graduated from my high school so I'll be rooting for him, I expect it to be a high-scoring game. Hurrah!

What happened to New England kicking everyone's rears in sports? Where are my Patriots??? =-(

Well, I kind of feel like the Saints should make it. As far as I know, they haven't been to the Superbowl since Katrina turned their sports dome into a mass-homeless shelter. Go Saints then. =-)

Eh, that was my thought at first, but then I grew curious to see if anyone else had already said that they don't care so I clicked, saw others had indeed done it, and was like "Yeah sure why not."

Favre did exactly what he should have done. Blew it. He could have ran that ball out, and they were within FG range, easily for Longwell. Dammit all to hell, I am pissed.

I don't get all the people posting here that don't even watch the games. Why would you even bother? Is it an easy +1 for you or something? I don't get it. Is there a football user group or something, so I don't have to sift through a bunch of responses from people who don't even care or know what they are talking about, and openly admit it?

I could care less. I have to watch the super bowl for school this year for a project, so I guess I should to care about what colored blobs I won't be caring about between the ads. Yay advertising.
I do have a friend who is a Saints fan, so I guess I could go watch it there.
