I know there have been announcements in the past but I haven't seen anything concrete. Whether it's a new installment or a (good) attempt at a reboot, I don't care, just bring him back. I have an itchin' for some more cow launching...

Even a prequel would be interisting, to see how the stranger ended up hiding his true self for so long. But hey, any sequel with a char that badass and overall gameplay so fun would be welcome. =)

Agreed, Instead of a Jedi Academy Sequel or Battlefront 3, Lucas arts announces a sequel to one of the worst Star Wars games.
Force Unleashed 2? Seriously?

I thought that was a stupid move. Of all the good games they could have done KOTOR 3, battlefront 3, republic commando 2 and jedi academy 2 they chose force unleashed 2, an add to that battlefront 3 doesn't exists because of force unleashed 1. They cut funding for it so they could make force unleashed. It seems if they take too long to make a sequal, they completely forget the games they make.

so my hopes for Planescape 2 are really high now...

Who now is even halfway competent enough to make Planescape 2? Seriously. It won't get made (ever) and that's a good thing.

For sequels that got canceled that shouldn't have been, Fallout 3 (aka Van Buren), Dungeon Keeper 3, Ultima Online 2 and Castle Greyhawk (okay it wasn't a video game but it still sucks not to have it).

Gonna kick it slightly old school for this one...

Planescape: Torment - yes the story had a good "ending" but another game in that universe that was written just as well would be great.

Sacrifice: Awesome gameplay, some of the best voice acting to ever exist in a game. Definately deserving of a sequal.

Freespace series: Freespace 2 had an ending just begging for a sequal. The Shivan's have invaded human/vesudan space and destroyed a star in a populated system! The game was freaking amazing, where's my sequal!

As to all those saying Shadow of Colossus, it does not need a sequal (IMHO). Ico could be considered it's sequal, but I know you guys want more Colossi, and I can't blame you. But I do think that the story of SoC was complete and didn't need a tacked on sequal. I would, however, love to see a remake of the original. One thing that made the game so amazing was it's presentation. Can you imagine it done with sound and graphics on par with Crysis/Killzone 2/MW2/AC2. It would blow your freakin' mind.
