Not every British Accent surely? Some of the ones in England are especially offensive to the ears, eg. Scouse (Liverpool), which is practically a separate language:Lilani said:I like me a British accent...and I have an American accent (Plain old midwest, not southern or valley girl. Like Moviebob's broadcast voice). I don't know why I like British accents...they just sound so sweet and smart. And I don't get how anyone can like American accents, though it's probably the same thing. I'm around them so much they have no appeal.Broady Brio said:I don't get people liking any British accents except Irish. Mainly because I'm British and I constantly around British people. I don't get liking other European accents either.
I can't say I don't mind Russian accents. Same with American[footnote]Except for Valley Girl and Southern accents. Bleh.[/footnote] ones.
uurgh.
Personally, I like Irish accents. I know a couple of girls from Cork (no idea of that's a rough part of Ireland or not) but they have nice voices, to my ears at least. I know again, that Ireland has loads of regional accents, but I'll go for that one.
