I wish I had an Irish accent.

As far as what I like to hear out of women... um... I dunno. I don't really have a favorite. Lelianna had a French(ish) accent right? That's good at least.

The Inverness accent is very pleasing to hear. BBC RP is all right, but I can't stand 'Gap Yah' southern accents. And of course French is very sexy

Unfortunately, I come from a place where people have this accent :(

Cheerful, but not what anyone would deem sexy.
At least you don't have the accent of my local peers:

As for sexiest? Hard to say. I'll go with an unusual one and pick Romanian. It's sorta Italian sounding, sorta Czech sounding. Can be very cute.

I'm a sucker for accents, anything that sounds a bit different to what I'm used to usually grabs my attention. But scottish is the one that I really like, I find it incredibly attractive.

Shit, I don't know.
There's a big part of me that says "Duh, British" but I don't find that accent particular attractive on women.

I'll go with Japanese because Aya Hirano. Sexiest voice ever.

Spanish.

A Spanish women is free to chat to me all day. It works on 2 levels.

1, they just sound sexy.
2, I wouldn't be able to understand a fething thing so she is free to talk about anything.

I dunno, I haven't really heard a British accent I'm not terribly fond of. I've heard Stephen Merchant's [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibzbTu_Rmy0] accent is southern and I don't mind that, and Christopher Eccleston [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgpT0wjC-iY] has a northern accent and that's fine too. Apart from those I'm not really sure I can distinguish any others. It's all British to me :p I guess those strong, stereotypical cockney accents are a bit obnoxious, but I have yet to come across a real person who speaks like that.
Ah... so the 'mild' or 'soft' accents... as it were. Stephen Merchant's quite... upper-class, but it's a natural accent that he has. Compare to say... Made in Chelsea (or whatever the hell it's called), they sound ridiculous (hideously posh, but sounds soooooooooooooo forced and effected... *blech*).
I wouldn't have called Merchant's accent upper-class, it's pretty strongly Bristolian. I mean, I'm from Devon so my accent's kind of a toned-down version of his mixed with RP mixed with Scottish mixed with Irish (crazy parentage and strongly-accented people I grew up around)... Basically, most of us Brits would consider his accent farmer-ish. (If you are a Brit, I apologise for appearing to exclude you from 'us'.)

OP: I do like me some Scottish. The brogue, though, West Lothian or Edinburgh style rather than broad Glaswegian. (My own accent, while it occasionally borders into the Scottish, isn't anywhere near Scottish enough to render me immune to its sexiness.) Alternatively Irish (same justification) or whatever accent Regina Spektor has. Though that could just be her.

A lotta people are obsessed with mine, the typical southern posh-ish accent. It's the one they're used to associating Britain(when they mean England) with from films and radio.

I can't actually think of what accents I find nice right now, tends to hinge more on the person and how they use it..

edit: I do love a strong russian accent, partly for comedy value.

I'm partial to Russian/Eastern European accents and Irish accents. I like listening to spoken Arabic, though not the accents so much. There's always Cockney, but that's just fun to listen to rather than sexy.

I've never been a 'sucker' for accents in such a way that I only pay attention to the person who has it the entire time. They at least have to have something worth saying.

I like any accent that isn't my own (American - California, not valley-girl). Though usually I find the accents I like the most are the cleaner versions, with plenty of annunciation. But if I had to chose one to deem the 'sexiest'? I seem to enjoy hearing Scottish accents more so than others. Favorite language to listen to, French (males preferably).

I find quite a lot of accents here in the UK sexy, depending on the right area of the region where they're mild-to-moderate and don't get too thick. I like scouse chicks (though a particular type of the accent), a few in the mid-north, Irish, and some of the lighter Scottish ones.

French, some Spanish accents, and almost anywhere from East Europe are sexy.

There is one (and only one) American accent; but I've no idea how to locate or name it. At a guess, it could be from somewhere around upper-south; though I could be way off. It usually comes up in depictions of 1950's-ish suburban America.

When they say "life" it sounds like saying "laugh" (not in the 'larf' pronunciation) if you drag the word a little. It has a dainty sound and in my mind is like a stepford wife kind of accent.

I find it funny how people will say any Slavic accent is "Russian". Uh, no, could be Czech, Serbian, Slovenian, Polish...
OK, that makes sense. I was wandering why were there so many people who preferred Russian.

OT: I dunno, perhaps I'll go with, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or in other words - Scandinavian accent of some sort.

I don't just look at the accent (so to speak). I listen to the voice itself.

I consider the American accent rather 'meh', but I knew one American girl whose voice and accent combined was incredibly... er, nice to listen to.

But no, I have no real favourites here.

Probably an English accent, but it'd have to be the right one.

Whenever I watch "Ocean's Thirteen", I completely adore the accent and voice of the woman at the front desk of Bank's hotel. That type of accent is sexy to me, but of course, her smooth voice helps a lot.
