Heavenly Sword and Transformers come to mind... I think Heavenly Sword was shortest.

I liked Heavenly Sword though, felt like they gave me all the fun, without much of the boring running around parts. I did beat it the same day I bought it though... so not sure it was the best value for my money, but I had fun.

Transformers was okey, what really made that game good was the multi-player though.

The first game that comes to my mind is Mirrors Edge. When I realised that it's over I was surprised that it ended so fast and a bit disappointed.

Portal, took me 2 hours in one sitting. Nothing wrong with it, it was a good length I think whereas MW2? I mean come on I could have played through the sp campaign on the toilet.

That "Terminator Salvation" game that came out in 2009? Beat it in 2 hours and 13 minutes on Normal difficulty (it holds my record for "shortest game ever"), and I did NOT speedrun it or anything. It is just that short of a game.

They wanted to sell that game for the same price as other AAA titles yet it was that bloody short... Thank christ I borrowed it from a friend who had it as a rental or else I'd be majorly disappointed D:

Half-Life 2's episodes are pretty short. Especially the first one.
Also, I wouldn't care if Episode Three would be only three hours long, just gimme it already!

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Less than an hour if you know what you're doing. Then again I did beat it co-op, but that just makes it harder against the final boss(es).

Medal of Honour Tier 1. It made CoD look like an RPG, time wise..
It was very short, but the only thing bad I can say about the campaign is that there wasn't any more of it.

Probably CoD: World At War. I beat that game in under 6 hours. :( Combined with how sub-par the online multiplayer was, this made that game a huge disappointment.

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy? I thought it was a pretty long game as it took me a while when i was younger. But playing through it again recently it took me round about 3 hours to reach a good/neutral ending. Obviously, this was one play through with one type of ending, but I'm not going to play it through again anytime soon >.<
Well i played it on steam, just one playthough, so I can be quite accurate when i say that it took me exactly 16.7 hours to playthough.

You must of been on some sort of speed run O.O

Anyway OT: and in the category "shortest campaign ever", the award goes to COD 4 MW, well done COD you deserve this. 4 hours btw.

I was just curious about what the shortest games people have played. Was it underwhelming or was it actually a good length? Did you replay it, how long was it etc.?

My shortest are probably Mirrors Edge, Megaman X8, Killzone 2. They come to mind at the moment, but I'll think of more later. They all disappointed me and left me feeling like I wasted my time.

Star Wars: Republic Commando. That game is way too short! (I finish it within two or three days were I had spend a couple of hours or so within that day.)
that game is so underrated

OT: shorted game would probs be MW2 *sigh*
