Medal of Honour Tier 1. It made CoD look like an RPG, time wise..
It was very short, but the only thing bad I can say about the campaign is that there wasn't any more of it.
Well, it was an above par story, minus the helicopter scene. Also, it just ended out of nowhere. I remembered thinking at the final stage how lame it'd be if the game just ended, and then it did...

The Aliens vs Predators game had really short campaigns, The predators had only like 6 missions, with the Aliens not having much more. The Marines had the longest I think, and even that wasn't as long as I would've liked.

Passage, but thats more of an art statement than a game. Also portol. 2-3 hours of pure gaming bliss though.

Easily Portal and, hey, it's not being ninja'd if it's just true. Took me about 3 hrs. the first time through. I can bust it out in about 1.5 hrs now, considering I know the puzzles. HL2: Ep1 was also fairly short. Episode 2 was substantially longer, but they were just supposed to be episodes so I don't think they count as much. Portal 2 is reportedly about 11 hrs. (Yikes!). I hope it doesn't get old.

Metro 2033, it's not actually that short a campaign, but I've completed it so many times I can easily do it all in one sitting.

I think I know one even shorter than Portal...

Left 4 Dead
Both have been brought up a lot, but I think neither of them should really count or at least compare to the likes everyone brought up which are mostly singleplayer AAA games.

Portal is a short game treated as an extra gift for those who wanted the HL2 series and Team Fortress 2 in a package.

Left 4 Dead is a multiplayer focused game that's supposed to be extended incrementally and replayed.

Yeah, there's a single player and a campaign but does it really compare to full priced AAA single player campaign focused titles with really short playtimes such as:

*Assassin's Creed
*God of War
*Condemned 2
*Halo 2
*Call of Duty: Black Ops
*SWAT 4
*Metal Gear Solid 4 (Without watching cutscenes)
*Medal of Honor (2010)

Star Wars: Republic Commando. That game is way too short! (I finish it within two or three days were I had spend a couple of hours or so within that day.)
yeah thats true, i restarted a few days ago on hardest mode, that extends playtime a little. Super battle droids are unfair.

Stacking from XBLA. Beat it in about 4 hours (unlocked everything in-game, including achievements) and thought it was a bit short to warrant the 1200MSP price tag. It was a good game. I liked the cutscenes. I liked the in-game humor but, it was like ordering one two-piece order of Sushi without realizing your ordered the 2-piece. It was delicious but it went by far too quickly.

You sure have a point with CoD: Black Ops - though you can say the same for all the recent Call of Duty games. (Including World at War.)

Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. I remember playing through that in 3 hours and while having enjoyed the crap out of it, thinking "there's gotta be more." I spent 8 hours on RE2 when it first came out. Yeah, I took my sweet time with that one. But in RE3, somehow breezed through it. Later runs were done in a little over an hour.

It's been said many times before, but Portal.
Finished it in 1 and a half hour on my first play.

I think it's interesting to include a sandbox game in this. Considering all the missions you could choose to do, extending playtime. Sure you could choose not to, but that's sort of like fudging the numbers a bit. Like playing Oblivion, and claiming it's only got 2 hours of play time cause you breezed through the main story without exploring the world at large.
