A nice, cold bottle of Irn Bru. Nothing beats it.
The Scots were bound to get something right eventually.

And it just happened to be the best damn soft drink in the universe :D
Oh, I didn't realise the Scots invented Mountain Dew :p

To answer your question, Mountain Dew
Pfft, your wussy drink for wussy men can not possibly stand up against the might of Irn Bru.
Mountain Dew Throwback cans have a hillbilly supping moonshine on them

Check and mate.
Irn Bru adds has an old lady stealing things in a mobility scooter with a metal track.

Your move :D
I see your old lady shoplifter and raise you Steven Seagal!

>Implying that Steven Seagal is cool.

I'm still waiting :D
:O Blasphemy!

Lethal Yo-yos, your argument is invalid
>Implying that yo-yos are cool.

You're not very good at this are you :D

I like to sit my computer chair with a hot cup of black coffee and listen to a good album. Julian Casablanca's' Phrazes for the Young in particular makes me feel like everything is fine for some strange reason.

For me, I have two thing are really good for getting me out of a funk.

First I usually go for some good up-beat Celtic folk, Old Blind Dogs for preference. Enter the Haggis and Gaelic Storm are also solid favorites.

Second are truly, hilariously, bad movies. I own all of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes and have probably watched them more frequently is good for my health. =P RiffTrax, Cinematic Titanic and anything produced by Roger Corman are all good for the spirit. I know I am not the only one out there that feels that way =)

I'd say sitting and having a nice long think can chill me out.

In an ideal future, sitting in front on an open fire on my sofa with my loyal golden retriever, wrapped in a blanket and drinking hot chocolate. Seems old fashioned but it'd be so damn relaxing.

Laying in bed for an extra two hours or so.
Ponies, ponies can always cheer me up, even if it's just a smidgen.

A cigarette after a long trip, a cup of coffee in the morning and glass of red after a long week... Aaaahh...

Well, barring me favorite drugs, it'd be a warm shower, climbing into a warm bed and warming a bed. Can't really beat it.

Not at all.

One of the most relaxing things I've done is sitting on a balcony during a huge thunder storm.

I love the sound of rain, I love the smell of it and I love that it drowns out all the other sounds of the world.

Unfortunately, that only happens when I'm on holiday abroad, since my house doesn't have a balcony and Britian doesn't tend to get awesome thunder storms very often :D

Changing into fresh socks: whether my current socks are just a bit sweaty or completely drenched because I ran through some waist-high water, ripping 'em off and putting on fresh, dry socks is one of the best feelings in the world.

Also, when I'm running and a song comes on my iPod that I love, and I can just feel the endorphins rush through me.

I love putting on a pair of socks when I have cold feet.

I can feel the benefit almost instantly :D
