Misogynists are anti-women, I think Chauvanism has more pro-man than anti-woman but it's got both.

Misogyny is hatred of women. Chauvinism is more just anti-feminist, "women should know their place in the kitchen/bedroom/stripclub/backalley floor" style of thing.

This thread is hilarious, haven't read all of it yet (but I plan to), but figured I would add to it, I have a great story.

So a few friends and I decide to visit the east coast, we land in Charlotte North Carolina about noonish, we're all hungry and decide to go get some food at a seafood restaurant a friend of mine recommended. We're sitting at a table talking about the flight, the hotel, where we plan to go in the next week etc. The waitress over-hears us and inquires where we are from. We tell her we're all from Colorado, she gasps and asks "How can you live there?! Aren't there indians and grizzly bears, and isn't it rough out there? Not much civilization and such?". My friends and I sat there for a few seconds, with a dumbfounded look on us, we asked "Wait, are you serious?!". She responded "Yes" in all seriousness. We just shook our heads and responded no.

That is one of the many things that makes me lose faith in humanity. And yes I realize not everyone from N.C. is not that bad

Edit: Oh and any of Disney's new movies, such as the new Chihuahua movie ... uuugggghhhhh.

Censorship in the name of 'equality'. dont get what i mean? no worries, it doesnt make much sense anyway. ill give you three examples. Bah bah rainbow sheep, ha ha ha, and the word 'retard'. You no that old nursury rhyme, bah bah black sheep? well apparently calling the sheep black is 'racist', so now an increasingly large number of prep schools are calling the sheep 'rainbow coloured'. remember how santa claus used to say ho ho ho? well its too similar to the american word for a prostitute apparently, and its insulting to woman. its ha ha ha now. and you no that new movie coming out, tropic thunder? In it, robert downy junior called ben stiller a retard. two days ago, an amarda of protesters all with mental health retardations lined the streets outside of numerous large cities, and my favourite in particular, the white house, to protest against the use of 'retard' in a hollywood movie as an insult. i quote word for word, "using this word in this fashion insults people like myself, and the director should be punished for his obvious distaste for those who are something less than perfect."

im at a lose for words when i think these sort of things over. people just cant take a joke, and are too obsessed with keeping it clean and 'protecting the children' to let things BE!

Truly, the best members of society are complete assholes when it comes to talking to IT. "Interactive" Kids shows. You know the type. Where they tell them to do something and then pause for a second so the kids think they are actually talking to the character or some shit. I hate that. It seems like all the kids shows nowadays are like that. What happened to normal cartoons?

When I was a kid I watched Gargoyles and Gummi Bears and fucking Tom and Jerry. None of that fake interactive shit. No lessons. Just something fun to watch and some of them even had stories that weren't confined to a single episode (LE GASP! A childrens show with a coherent story!!)

I hate kids nowadays too. Especially screaming kids. I just wanna beat them to death with the nearest blunt object. Thats why I support corporeal punishment. Parents should hit their kids more. My parents never hit me, but that's because I knew how to SHUT THE FUCK UP!!
