"Exhausted for the most part, though about the same." Richard took another sip of the absinthe and though for a moment before replying.

"I don't see why not, just so long as you don't start trying to search for personal secrets or cause me to have amnesia afterward. I wouldn't mind some, just not a whole lot. Would rather save up for the meal I'm going to be bringing in this time. I figure since others have fronted the bill for a meal, it's my turn. If only to be fair to those that already have." He said.

"Alright then, I guess it's okay. Though I hope whatever change you made doesn't end up backfiring on me. You know, something like the change not lasting ten minutes but possibly well over a day. I guess, in the end, we just have to wait and see." Richard said before taking a drink. He didn't notice anything different, but he figured he would wait ten minutes before ordering food. Just in case whatever change Dona had done made it weird or impossible for him to order the food.

"Well guys I have to say everything went pretty well," Garrus said as he walked into the lounge with a folder. "It feels good to help out, wish I could have done some more but Cillian wanted to tell me about a few ways to get our approval rating up, and I think I found a good one," he explained, taking a seat in the rocking chair and handing the folder to Rich.

"Good to know. Nice to know someone outside of the group helps out. So, what line does Cillian plan on having us tow. Hopefully it won't be more humanitarian missions and something with an actual physical bout." He rhymed before sipping more of the absinthe and looking over the folder.

"No, it's more along the lines of what we'd do. Seemingly many major cities have been getting threats from this one Professor who is a part of the Union. Patriot was actually going to deal with it, but he's handed it off to us. I think it'll be good," Garrus said excitedly.

Tommy entered the Promenade covered in dirt. He walked straight through the Promenade without acknowledging anyone. He went to his room and took off his mask, he then lay on his bed and looked straight up at the ceiling. He was exhausted, not physically but emotionally. It had started during the riot but it continued through the whole day, as he cleared rubble he felt everyone starring at him, when he walked down the streets they jeered. Bit by bit his mental constitution was worn away until it lay bare, and even when he decided he wouldn't take it anymore, something held him back, something kept him from throwing a cinderblock through a harrasser's skull. I'm only 18, some one my age shouldn't have to put up with this... As he thought that he remembered all the hatred and ill will he had felt that day. Water began to pool up on top of his eye lids, his breathing became like a broken laugh.

He stopped, immediately ashamed of what had just happened. He wiped the moisture from his face and undress, pulling a towel around his waist he went to take a shower.

Katie yawned and looked up at Jason. "That would be nice," she answered with a smile. "And yeah, it has been a long day, considering I just grew enough food to feed practically half the city." She stretched her arms out and gave another yawn, close to falling asleep.

Reaching over to pick up the crumpled notes, Simon pulled up a chair

"Well, lets look through them anyways. We have the trust of the people for now, but its long lasting solutions that'll help bring the Society and normal people closer together"

And with that he smiled

"Like your idea about Aaron and I helping out in fires"

Jason smiled at Katie's remark and picked her up.

"All that hard work, and yet you still have enough strength to talk. I wouldn't want to get into a fight with you." He joked softly as he held her in his arms.

"You can rest now, you've accomplished a lot today, and you deserve it." He said as he approached her treehouse. In one swift jump, he bounded into the doorway. As carefully as he could, he placed her on the bed before kissing her on the forehead.

"'Night Katie." He said quietly before leaping out the doorway.

 

[tsatoma]

"The basic rundown is that we go and finish this guy up, make sure his virus is destroyed, blah blah. Easy right?" Garrus explained, getting up and getting a drink before sitting back down.

 

[CounterAttack]

"Goodnight," Katie murmured to empty air; Jason was already gone. She felt a little disappointed by him suddenly leaving, and wished he had stayed longer. She dismissed the thought as her body demanded rest. She wriggled slightly, using the last little bit of her energy to pull the bed's leaf blanket over herself before yawning once more, rolling onto her side and falling asleep.

Khrys sighs and pulls a chair over by Simon sitting down and shrugging. "Just sorts of general ideas. We can find things were interested in and help them some when we have the time. Even if all we do is get them in the paper for a few days it should help. Maybie have some of the more respectable ones talk to kids."

Jason calmly strolled into the Promenade, Greeting his fellow teammates as he sat down in the lounge.

"So Gang, what's on tomorrow's agenda?" He asked.

"Sounds like a plan to me, my friend." Richard said just as Jason walked in the room and asked his question.
"It seems we have to stop a man from making a virus.
I should almost say saving the people from an unseen threat is becoming a trend.
At least this time we're not going to just blow things up, but actually save the populace." He took another swig and continued to watch TV.

Khrys pauses and considers then points to a note on the paper that has 'Richy' next to a slug thing and a school with wings saying "My notes are hard to read I was thinking Richy is about how huggable as a sea cucumber so maybie we can get him to judge the science project for the schools and give the winner a lap around the the block flying."

She gives Simon a smile. "I learned if you want to increase school spirit you cant just do one thing when its convenient, even a really huge thing, and have it last. Lots of little good things will work much better at making pep. I was sorta thinking about this that way."

"Interesting...and where did you learn all these morale boosting techniques?"

He asked, a look of curiosity on his face as he studied Khrys
