"What are you planning?" Richard asked as he switched over to heat vision.

"It confirms what the cops said. There are a few missing signatures, but that can easily be explained by people being out of my range of vision."

Aaron closed his eyes and focused.

"The closest heat signature is by the entrance of the bank in one of the offices. His current body temepertaure is 98.6 °F. I can drop it down to 89 °F and cause Hypothermia. Mental confusion would ensue and muscle mis-coordination. He is to far away from any other signatures that they would notice his change. I could take out one of them from here. Should I?

"I would honestly save that for when the others get here and we start this. It would be helpful, but if they find him too soon the situation would get far worse very fast." Richard replied.

I leave for a few days, and we get someone with several bone fractures. Sorry 'bout being away, it was just plain neglect. Won't happen again, Doctor's honor.

Birras walked up to the unconscious Katie and yelled "Oi! Wake up, there's doctorin' to be done," all the while mixing plaster and preparing a mold. Behind him lay a wheelchair, ready to be used.

Katie lay unresponsive on the ground for a short while, her left arm and right leg both twisted at abnormal angles. The only thing running through her mind was pain. Pure, simple, obliterating everything else she could possibly think of.

She stirred and woke, her eyes flickering open. She could feel something wrong with her chest. A split-second later she began to gasp for breath, instantly hyperventilating, trying to breathe normally despite the obvious pain.

I'm thinking Katie's got a couple of broken ribs, in addition to the arm and leg.

Garrus and Anton are left. And I think that's about it.

Garrus, Anton, and James I believe are left over.

"Alright take the next then come back for me. I'd rather not get left behind, though how useful I could be I don't know. Not really good with sneaking in, and my powers are a bit destructive..." Garrus said, starting to trail off and wondering how he could be useful.

'I could probably do major damage to anyone that tries to escape, or if they have an escape vehicle,' he thought.

"Ah, should've expected this," Birras said, as Katie began to hyperventilate, "Oh, wait, I did." The doctor pulled a syringe from his shirt pocket, held Katie's arm down and injected her. "This is a mild sedative, should calm you down but keep you awake so we can determine the problem and make it stop."

Katie flinched as Birras injected her; heights weren't her only fear. She could feel the sedative working immediately, and her breathing slowed considerably. She closed her eyes, trying to block out the pain, but mostly so she couldn't see the extent of her injuries.

"Excellent,"The doctor said, "Now then, looks to be...two broken ribs, simple fracture in the arm...and a compound fracture in the leg." Birras inspecting the wounds very closely, before applying the casts. To himself. "Alright, when this plaster dries, I'm going to take the injury from you. It's going to hurt a bit, but you'll be fine in a minute."

Katie realized what Birras was about to do, and looked at him, a little shocked. "No, don't," she murmured. "I don't want you getting hurt because of me. Just... finish the casts, and take me to... my room in the gardens. I can heal myself by... drawing energy from the plants. It takes time, but... it helps speed up the healing process."

She stopped speaking, as it took effort just to get a sentence out, and relaxed a little more, allowing Birras to finish his work.

"Don't worry, m'dear. Unlike you, I get more effective in a fight the more injured I am," He said, testing the plaster with his finger. "Now trust me. I would prefer to get injured by helping a teammate rather than flaying myself with a scalpel." The doctor sat down in the wheelchair, cracked his knuckles and braced himself. "Try to sit still. And don't worry, I'm a doctor."

Katie raised her good arm and wiped a layer of sweat of her forehead, then flopped the arm back down on the ground. She steeled her nerves, closed her eyes once more and said, "I guess I'm ready. Do it."

She didn't know what to expect. Was Birras going to touch her injuries in order to make the transfer? Would she feel some kind of change in the temperature around her? Would he need the wheelchair once he was done?

Concentrating equally on Katie's injuries and not biting off his own tongue, Birras began the process. "Mmmmmmmmmmpppphhhhh!" the Doctor screamed, biting down on his own hand as his bones made a very audible 'crack'. Ten seconds later, he ceased screaming and took his hand out of his mouth. It was bloody, with teeth marks breaking the skin. He sighed. "God damn, that's painful," he said as he wrapped his hand in gauze.

Edited to save posts.

Katie screamed in pain as her bones began to move inside her, reshaping themselves to repair the breaks. The pressure in her chest lifted as the two broken ribs shifted and reknitted. Her scream became louder as her arm and leg both spasmed back into normal positions, their fractures healing quickly.
