The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

Richard thought back to Dona.

"I don't think that will work. The leader will not leave the super, and with the way this crew operates they are obviously professionals who will not betray each other until they are in the clear if at all. There's also the part where the leader would never go anywhere alone, he picked the team, he isn't going to abandon them because he trusts you. He trusts all of them enough to hold hostages in a bank surrounded by cops, I sincerely doubt he will leave them even if under illusion. Our best course of action is to get the hostages out first and then move in and attack, if we all move at once, we can overpower them and take them out with the least risk of failure and danger to others than ourselves."

"Stress is probably our best option. It will make their aim worse, but it should be done when we attack to avoid making them jumpy while civilians are nearby."He thought back as he waited to destroy a few of the weapons.

I've been hiding in the back of the fridge. Noone ever looks there.

"So," Birras wheezed, his chest burning as he inhaled, "I had nothing else planned today. Now what?"

 

[CounterAttack]

"Just give me a sec... to get my breath back," Katie said, breathing hard. For some reason, Birras's power had taken a fair bit of her stamina. She raised her right arm and felt her left. Nothing, not even a blink of pain. She dropped the hand to her chest and checked where her ribs had broken. Again, nothing. She was in perfect health; even the scratches and cuts she had received during the course had vanished.

"Your power is amazing... thanks," she said, quickly recovering from her sudden fatigue.

 

[Birras]

"No problem, what should we do until the others get back from the cinema or whatever the hell they're doing?"

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie sat up and leaned on her arms. "No idea. But I guess I can show you the full extent of what I can do with plants, if you'd like."

I've got work in ten minutes, so this'll be my last post for three hours or so.

 

[Birras]

"Meh," Birras shrugged as best he could with one broken arm, "Sure, why not. I've shown you my powers, I might as well see yours,"

Meanwhile...

After a few minutes, Jason looked once again from beyond the pillar. As he counted heads again, he noticed most of the hostages were missing.

"Alright, Simon must've gotten a few of them out now, but why is he taking his sweet ass time getting the rest?!" He said quietly to himself.

 

[Quad08]

Simon was working overtime on his ability to get all the hostages out. Luckily, all his training appear to had paid off and soon the room was empty of the hostages.

He quietly teleported back to Jason.

"Alright boss man, whats out next move?"

Jason nearly jumped when Simon seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

"Speaking of the devil..." Jason said with a sigh.

"Okay. Since all the hostages has been removed...it's time for some fun." Jason said, getting up from his spot, sneaking towards the robbers who still had their backs turned.

Richard looked through the skylight to see Jason sneaking up to the guards. He watched him take one of the, out.

"And so begins another round of testing." Richard said as he fired through the skylight and took out the primary weapons of a couple of the robbers before dropping in himself and attacking. He took the attention that otherwise would have turned to Jason after his attack. The bullets embedded or ricocheted when they hit the suit and did little damage. He allowed the blades on the arms to activate and got engaged in close quarters combat as quickly as possible.

"Seems like the attack has begun," Garrus muttered to a few of the officers, taking a seat behind a police car, "Hopefully we can get this done quickly. Hey the hostages are coming out, go get 'em officers."

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie giggled quietly to herself; she had interpreted Birras's words as slight innuendo, but she got the idea. She stood up and said, "For starters, I can hover for about half a minute." She proceeded to do so, levitating herself a metre off the ground. "I could go much higher, of course, but it would hurt to come back down if I ran out of time."

 

[Birras]

"Impressive," Birras hummed, "Though I don't much see what that's got to do with plants."

As Jason began to attack, he quickly noticed Richard come up behind him, disarming gun-toting robbers with ease.

"Glad to see you can join us!" He said, dodging a punch from one of his adversaries before returning, making sure that he uses his fist rather than his claws.

He figured that a poor guy's ripped face wouldn't accompany his hero status well.

"Please, couldn't leave you with all the fun now could I?" Richard said as he remembered to pull the blades back, he remembered Garrus' order to not kill, though he figured if they were stupid enough to shoot at him a few non-fatal cuts and stab wounds were the least he could do.
