World of Warcraft does a very good job with the music that goes into the game...
But, I also love any music from the game Persona. Each piece of music really portrays the situation well, I love it! Okami's music is top notch, aswell.

Heavy Rain for me, it sets the mood of the game perfectly. It's depressing as all hell but its a brilliant score.

The Silent Hill series, IMO. Not only is it atmospheric as hell in-game, it's also great to listen to outside the game. Some of the sounds/songs there are pretty damn unique, too.

The Legend go Zelda: OoT and WW both had awesome soundtracks. Both of the Super Mario Galaxy OSTs are phenomenal as well.

As of recent, I'm going to have to go with Mass Effect. Jack Wall really sets the mood for each setting, giving each its own "feel". "Suicide Mission [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTsD2FjmLsw]", I believe, is a good example of such a thing.
